That advantage won't help them. Lakers are not losing the first two at home.

Having to change gears so quickly certainly could be a problem.

Basically. Not seeing an advantage for them down 2 starters and going to a place they haven't won at in a long time.

Give me a break, look Dallas owned L.A. at home this season, a true thumping from a team that was struggling and has failed to win in L.A. forever . Give the Jazz alittle more respect, they just knocked off a team that owned the Lakers this season.

That being said, I hope you are right, because if we sweep this Jazz team, it would do this team wonders on healing.

Phil and his Jedi Mind Tricks. In his mind, he already knows he's in the WCF. Euphemisms at their best. Don't buy into what is stated on a surface level, look at his facial structure and hand-gestures when he says it. They explain a lot more.

Well, he meant to say that Utah is already in bed with the refs, therefore "Advantage Utah".

Wants his team to stay focused.

Phil just has to say it once and the reporters will repeat that
point to his players by asking what they thought of his quote.

Suddenly they are in the mindset of proving the coach wrong
this entire weekend.

Well if losing by 40 points without the other team's second best player translates to owning you're correct. Otherwise... not so much.

Still agree with Phil though, but Utah has too many injuries, plays poorly on the road (especially in LA) and has been smacked around worse than a kid brother by the Lakers since Gasol got here.

exactly, home court will be so important this series. Utah is amazing at home, so dont want to get into position where you HAVE to win in Utah.

first 2 games are key - but again we have huge size advantage inside, hopefully can be exploited.

just show up Odom !

Utah has to play on Sunday. Advantage Lakers. Utah isn't used to playing on Sunday. Also, they will be "smited".

Somewhere along the lines the law of averages kick in with the Jazz winning on LA's court, just like it did for Dallas.

Hopefully it won't happen in this series.
