Pretty weak argument. He says it's good for the NBA to see new faces move on rather than the same old Lakers. I think that's a very short-sighted way to look at it. The team that plays harder/better should be the one that advances, and that's exactly how the NBA should want it. If the Thunder end being that team so be it, but to say it's good for them to advance cuz lol Durant is teh aw3some!!!111!!! just seems like a Laker Hater's view on it. Also think the guy is clueless in thinking everyone outside SoCal is a Laker Hater. Sure they're probably the most hated NBA franchise, but can you tell me what other away team sees as much support in opponent's arenas as the Lakers do? I went to a Bulls game last year and the place was literally packed with Lakers gear.
I also love when people kick off an article criticizing something by stating they are actually a fan of it, like it gives them automatic credibility. |

No Salvatore or Scott Foster in any of the games today.
That bodes very poorly for the officiating assignments tomorrow.
If the NBA gives us a Salvatore/Foster crew, no use in even watching the game...

Like the NBA has a conspiracy against the biggest ratings/$$$ cow in the playoffs this year?

durant is going to get his, lakers need to lock down everyone else. bynum, gasol, and odom need to assert themselves and dominate the inside.
need to play it slow and limit OKC's fastbreaks. fisher/farmar/brown need to protect our bigs from foul trouble by at least trying to not be matadors. this series is all about defense. lakers offense should be fine, its our slow rotations and weak PG play at both ends that really worries me..

Championship Teams overcome bad officials.
We will not need the officials help.
OKC will get a lot of calls for 3 quarters and need all of them.
It Don't Matter. Durant Going Off, Russell Blowing By Our Backcourt, Officials. It Don't Fkn Matter.
I'll take my chances with a 10X Coach, 4X Hall of Famer, 3 skilled big men, and a Championship Team.

Amen to that, Joey Crawford and BS alvatore are two of the worst in the league. I would rather have two blind man out there over those two, at least then the no call would be even for both sides.
