DJ will give you energy for sure. But Phil did a good job using him sparingly. When he's out there he's not exactly a go-to guy in the post. _________________ *sighs*
He needs to play more. Having Mbenga ready will pay off when the inevitable foul trouble issues crop up with the dodgy reffing. I can see him pay dividends against orlando or the Cavs. Love his hustle. Loive the way he gets into the heads of opponents in the lane. Wish the other laker bigs had his motor.

It seemed to me Phil got mad at Kobe and benched him with 5min+ in the game. I don't think Phil was too happy with Kobe forcing the issue and trying to get his triple double. With Lakers up 20+ in the 4th it was obvious Kobe was trying to get that one assist. In forcing the issue, the lead was cut to 11- 14. I thought it was just a regular rest for Kobe until Phil brought back in most of the starters in, but not Kobe. Did anybody see it that way, or am i just tripp'n?
