Gasol should have been named player of the game. He found his jumpshot tonight.

Nice job sorting this out. Too many people rely on boxscores to make assumptions about Kobe's defense. Watch the game folks. |

I don't know if this was addressed earlier in the game thread, but I could have sworn that the bucket cassipi or nocioni hit to get them from 68 to 71 was a 2 and not a 3...

I love the way Kobe doing tonight. He shot and pass at the same time. I don't like seeing Kobe "pass all the way" or "shoot all the way."
Kobe is great tonight. |

You might laught but I thought he gave us excellent minutes. I hope we can get some consistent shooting from him. This is exactly what is missing from this team. Well its outside shooting and PG play... but 1 out of 2 isnt bad. _________________ Alltime lineup: Magic | Kobe | MJ | Hakeem | KAJ |

If he helps us win a game in the NBA Finals like he did in 2008, and we win it all, would he have redeemed himself from 2009? _________________ https://psntrophyleaders.com/user/view/tenike1

So who's fault is this?
Phil's for not enforcing things or Pau for not demanding the ball? |
PHil's. you should not have to curse out your teammates to get the ball when its scrubs and a starter thats scoring all day.
thats on phil. |
you shouldn't have to curse at them, but when they don't listen, you damn well better crack that whip and show them who the top dog is. Pau isn't a leader, and he doesn't demand respect from anyone. | Which is why he took a sorry memphis team to the playoffs.
dont fool yourself. he's a leader. but a leader for certain type of guys in a certain offense. not our type of guys, not our offense. and not our mentality (CHUCK first, look downlow 2nd). |
0-12. Swept all 3 times in the playoffs. NEVER WON A GAME in playoffs. Love Pau. He's a big reason we got ours last season. But, a leader? Hes far from it. He has repeatedly pointed fingers when things get tough.
Worse is when the team holds a meeting to speak up and he keeps quiet. Then the very next day he hides behind the media to throw yet more barbs at Kobe. Chicken sh*t. Uncalled for. Pau has been struggling all season. Probably played too many games last 2-3 seasons remember hes not used to playing much in playoffs. But what does he do to deflect off his own choke jobs in the clutch or bad play? Divert everyone's attention to Kobe. Thats cowardly and very un-classy.
Still love the man... but dont fool yourself. Theres a reason the 2nd best player on the Lakers did not earn the captaincy from Phil... _________________ Alltime lineup: Magic | Kobe | MJ | Hakeem | KAJ |

If he plays as big as he did in that win in 2008 finals during the playoffs and maybe in finals, then he has earned the 3 yr contract imho. No doubt.
Reg season stats are for Hollinger retards and box score watchers. He contributes in playoffs and all is forgiven. _________________ Alltime lineup: Magic | Kobe | MJ | Hakeem | KAJ |
