shut up. facts have no place here. never mind that pau played the best help defense of any of our bigs, he couldn't power it up through a two handed hack on the offensive rebound so he's soft and sucks and is awful and horrible etc etc etc.
gasol was awful offensively, but his help defense was damn good through most of the game.
kobe's offense was beautiful, especially late, but his defense was beyond atrocious. a big reason why we lost was not only the offense from the bigs, but also kobe giving q wide open 3 after wide open 3, daring him to shoot. heck, he even gave dorrel wright a free shot in there, along with a drive while kobe was ignoring him that was kicked out for another 3.
we lost this game as a team, kobe included. |

Meh. Lakers put so little effort tonight, I don't see why I should waste any effort getting mad at them. No D on the jumpers, missed FT's, obviously weren't that keen on winning tonight, so why should I get worked up about a game they didn't really care about themselves? |

we have some many missed free throws! plus once again arroyo who is practically a journeyman managed 16 pts and qrich going off on 3s...kobe not respecting dorrell wright and qrich...fish goin under a screen where arroyo was practically practicing his jumpshot out there...bynum with kwame hands...gasol with ....i'm just lost for words for gasol...he seriously needs to bulk up...howard/oneal will manhandle his ass come playoff time... |

Kobe played such terrible defense on Richardson all night that he cost us this game. He had a great game offensively, but when he let Richardson get hot, it spread the floor like crazy. I am sure Kobe knows this. Congrats to Miami though, they can now start planning their vacation after the first round.

Lol that still won't get more people to attend Heat games. Hell, I'd be surprised if there are enough actual Heat fans to fill the arena. |

Yeah because when the defender is moving, it is definitely a charge. |

What a screw job. So this is what Dallas felt like in 06. |
As bad as that was, it was a drop in the bucket compared to the job the ref's did on Dallas. That was THE worst case of handing a team a series I have ever seen. Worse even than the 2004 series with the Pistons. |

yep.. but, when BOTH happens, the lakers are screwed.. no motivation on D, lakers soft inside and the zone softening them up even more. |

Most important month of the season and this team refuses to step up. Championship teams step up. I don't think this team has shown that ability all year.
Time's running out. I wouldn't be surprised if we see our first 3 game losing streak with Pau.

Many lousy plays down the stretch.
Kobe's very short shot in regulation.
Fisher's stupid foul.
Artest's missed fts.
Kobe's offensive foul.
Bynum's sliipery hands.
Pau's softness. |

I thought we'd get a better defensive effort tonight, we didn't. I thought Ron's effort would be contagious, it wasn't _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

i hear you...i've been stressed out with their lack of effort and lack of D...so i'm gonna start to not care about this bunch of players when they really don't seem to put defense first...artest appears to me is the only who takes his defense seriously...the rest seemed that their only interest is to score...or look to score...no pride in their defense... |

Atrocious defense by the Lakers, especially in OT where Miami pretty much scored in every possession. The Laker bigs came up short again during crunchtime, not a good sign with the playoffs approaching.

really? im watching the TNT telecast they didn't replay it. It looked like a charge to me but i only saw it once, not in slomo. |
Yup they replayed in on kcal and it clearly showed oneal moving while kobe was in air to draw the contact, Stu was livid at it and other bad calls against the lakers. _________________ 11/9/12 the day the brown was flushed down!!!!!!

Missed FT's are usually a sign of a team that isn't focusing. Throw in all those open jumpers they let Miami shoot, and it's rather clear they were expecting the Heat to just choke themselves to a loss. Some bizarre logic, but eh, you win some, you lose some.

That was part of it, but it was a team loss in every sense. Too many turnovers didn't help. And while I defend Kobe a lot, there is no defense for the defense he played tonight. He sagged off Richardson WAY too much. Yep, it was a total team effort for this loss. |

Why in the World did Jordan Farmar take that shot with 18 seconds left????
I am also pretty shore that he thinks he is better that Kobe because even if Kobe is on a roll he doesnt pass to him |
