the first game was a back to back on the road, and the 2nd game billups went 9 for 13 on 3-pointers, which was a damn fluke.

lakers need to put these p.o.s worthless thuggets back where they belong. (being inconsequential)

I'm fully anticipating a total Laker beatdown of the Nuggets!

GO LAKERS!

IMO it's statement game.

I hope Billups won't have another "lucky-three pointer-day".

Go Lakers!

JR Smith was also a little hotter than usual. I say that because he's almost always hot against us. He's such a turd, Kobe needs to shut his big mouth up.

The last time we played them Bynum didn't get any chances to take it to Nene, but Nene got lots of chances to take it to Bynum. The only way to equalize that matchup is to make nene play defense too, and hope for some honest officiating. If Bynum gets fouls guarding Nene, there's no reason why Nene shouldn't pick up fouls guarding Bynum.

dude can actually shoot ...... Most of his shots were wide open with no one in his face ...... unacceptable

they just lit our asses up in that second game ..... 3-4 seems normal for Smith against us; don't know if that's accurate but they can't keep leaving dude that open .... and they shot 15-22. if they shot 10-22 which is still every respectable from 3 range, we win. And all that with no Melo.

We played at their pace and got smoked. Defense definitely have to be better.

The Lakers can't allow this team to waltz up in Staples Center (again) and embarrass them. While Denver is a good team, they aren't a smart team and can get easily taken out of the game with their emotional ways.

That being said, I think the biggest matchup is Ron Ron vs Melo. This is why we brought Artest here so let's see what he can do. The first game, Ron was saddled with foul trouble and the other, Melo didn't play.....

Let's do this, Lakers!

If refs let Ron stay on the court, he can do some damage on Melo

Seriously, let's kick some Nuggets ass. I'm tired of getting beat by them. We kicked their asses in the playoffs last year, let's do it again today.

Player News (last updated: February 28, 2010)
News: Martin (knee) will be a game-time decision on Sunday when the Nuggets visit the Lakers, the Denver Post reports.
Spin: No further information has been posted on the health of Martin's bruised knee so we're back to the wait and see approach. We're having a hard time imagining Martin won't at least give it a shot against the best in the West. That being said, if you've got a decent back-up option behind Martin you may want to use them until you see him play a full game without any setbacks.
