For all those peeps who are lauding the Lakers for playing so well without 2/5 of their starting line-up, this would be a game where they prove those accolades are well-deserved. This isn't a depleted Portland team or a San Antonio team who has looked less than stellar all year. This is a team who has won 9 straight and plays in one of the most difficult home arenas for a road team to get a win. They all better bring it.

NO KOBE!!!

You need to rest.

Do NOT play.

I would be content watching this game fight hard and still lose...

I want to see the same effort.

BUT NO KOBE!!

Well, regardless of who plays for the Lakers, this promises to be an excruciatingly tough game to watch.

Go Lakers!

Jazz have won nine straight and playing great ball ....... more than likely it's a loss but in the last four games (S.A., DEN, @ POR and @ UTA), you say we'd go 2-2 in these games, I think most of us would be happy as hell, especially with our injuries ..........

This is a game that I would be surprised if we won with Kobe. So I'm happy if Kobe sits. He needs the rest.

This will allow him to come back next Tuesday having taken 10 days off from live NBA game play. That's just what he needed for a lot of his injuries.

One loss tonight will hurt but getting Kobe back at a healthier state will help far more than tonight's possible loss will.

Kobe is sitting out, in case ya didn't know, maybe he'll sit the All Star game and get his legs right, what's with his fore finger it's broke right, does he need surgery cause I know he won't miss cause of that

How bad is his finger pain wise? I see that padding they have on it, he has to adjust his shot with that on, that's tough.

I'm interested in seeing how much Pau steps up tonight. Okur seems to bother Pau quite a bit, so it'll be interesting to see whether Pau rises to the challenge since he's our #1 option right now.

If Mbenga plays - 100% chance of victory
If Sasha plays - 90% chance of loss
If both Mbenga and Sasha play - 50/50

lakers will have an up hill battle, the refs are already scared to call a game fairly as we all know, we know that boozer likes to push and shove, we know the jazz like to run that moving screen and roll all game...so its hard to play them even when healthy...their bench gives us hell and millsap and them other clowns always out hustle the lakers...but a semi competetive game w/o kobe should give this team more confidence when they get all the pieces back

Derek Stafford, Benny Adams and T. Brown.

Not the worst crew I have ever seen, wonder who Stafford will pick on with Kobe out?
