Looks like the Lakers caught another break. Carmelo Anthony is doubtful.

Carmelo Anthony's (ankle) status for Friday against the Lakers is looking increasingly doubtful as are his prospects for Saturday against the Jazz.

Anthony says he wants to be 100 percent before he returns but confesses that he is having trouble pushing off of his weak ankle. "I can run up and down the court and shoot," he said, "But my first step is slow. I don't want to get out there like that." Anthony hopes to return sooner but is hopeful for Tuesday against the Mavericks.

Confirmed Melo out for this game. I don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing, knowing the Lakers might come in lackadaisical

Gonna be snowed in all weekend!! lakers better give me something to be happy about on Firday night!!!! Don't take this team lightly.. I will believe Melo is out when i see it.. Players always come back from injuries to play the Lakers... Don't forget how that cocky Lawson ran his mouth before the game and torched whoever was on him!!!!!
