Even though the Lakers lost 2 games on this trip, all have been close, winnable games.

I come on here, it doesn't load and when it does, I see threads about Phil Jacksons subsitutions and Bynum missing his 1st two shots and it gave the impression we lost.

When NBA.com finally loaded, it was a relief that we didn't, but people moan about anything when losing.

Best CLOSER EVER. Great D on Rondo

Are you kidding me? Agreed Kobe is a master at hitting clutch shots, even after a poor shooting performance, but, great D? Come on, Kobe played terribe D throughout the whole game.

Watch Rondo with Kobe on him vs when Kobe was on the bench. Rondo got going on Luke and Shannon. Got his rhythm and confidence going.

Did Rondo dominate in the 2nd half like he did in the 2nd Qtr? What changed?

I am just sorry for the fact the Celtics ain't gonna make it to the finals, cause I am more than sure we could sweep them. But we won't have the privilege of revenge. And mark my words: we will win again this season.

We absolutely PUNKED the Celtics when it mattered.

Would be even more if Bynum played the entire fourth instead of Gasol.

In fact the points they got in the paint during the first 3 quarters did not come from their bigs in their majority, but from perimeter players´ layups.

Drew and Pau got 30 points+30 rebounds, while Garnett and Perkins just 18+19.

Kobe has the length advantage over those two players. Kobe also gave Rondo a lot of space because Kobe knew Rondo can't shoot for (bleep). Besides Rondo only got off on pick n rolls. If shannon was given more time to guard Rondo and know his tendencies then it wouldn't be much of a problem. The bigs also need to help in pick n roll situations.

Great question by Lisa, Mr West, my name is Jerry. Jerry did you have anything to do with Pau coming to Los Angeles the fans in LA want to know? This is the closest I've heard him come to saying he did. With a wry smile he said, Well I was working there.....

Somebody started a thread asking what happens if you switched Lebron for Kobe. We would be kicking the Celtics butt today. Can you imagine that type of pressure on Lebron? Lebron would bust through that defense, whereas Kobe can't a step on Ray Allen. Lebron took the Celtics to 7 games, the Cavs are going to whoop the Celtics this year.

I'll say again. Cavs board--------------->

You were the same dude talk ish about Kobe right before he hit the gw shot against the Bucks.

i wonder if that'll put an end to their "you only won last year because kg was hurt and boston didn't make the finals" excuse - even though we already swept them last season.
i don't think it'll stop that whining, but maybe.

loved the win, but imho, this was the final measuring stick for boston in their decision on whether or not they need to trade some expirings for talent, and i think it won't be long now untill they do.

go lakers !
buck foston !!!
