hopefully the lakers lose tomorrow. this will send them a wake up call and let them know that they're not gonna win a championship by playing like little pus sies and losing on the road all the time against +.500 teams
Um, they have had plenty of wake up call games, like 2 crap performances against CLE, the TOR game and many others. If they haven't gotten the wake up by now, it's bad....I sure hope we get a solid effort tomorrow.

Hey Laker fans, here is a quote from the "other side - Celtics fan here"
Myself - I was lucky to game a ticket for tomorrow's game. I've never been to a Celtics/Lakers game but its a game I've wanted to see since I was a kid.
Honestly, I don't see the Celtics winning tomorrow the way they are playing. I just hope they don't get destroyed by 20 points and keeps it somewhat close. _________________ "Larry, you only told me one lie. You said there will be another Larry Bird. an obvious loss. boston fans are losing interest and the league doesn't want to lose money. a rigged win will restore the confidence back for the celtic fans. i guarantee a loss. not even worth watching.
refs or not, we need to overcome the BS that comes with games @boston. we did it last year without bynum, we need to do it again. this laker team still treats boston as its real rival, so a win would mean a lot more here then @ cleveland.
i hope kobe is on rondo and fish chases around ray allen. I hate watching kobe waste energy run through screens against guys like ray allen (and hamilton in 04). also i hope lamar drives against garnett and really makes him work on the boards, not just hang out by the 3 pt line.
godspeed. lets get this w _________________ "I can picture in my mind a world without war, a world without hate. And I can picture us attacking that world, because they'd never expect it." - Jack Handey
If there's one game that the "struggling" Celtics show up for, it's tomorrow. So expect them at their best.
If Lakers don't play up to their potential, we're going to get abused physically.
They showed up to both the Orlando and Atlanta games and it took those teams till last minute to put them away. Boston competes in every game, even when they lose. They don't take games off. Lakers better not go in there with the same attitude like in Cleveland or they will get rolled up and smoked by halftime. _________________ Need proof NBA is rigged:

It's always a question with this team but this is the Celtics. Their focus will be there. _________________

Did Kobe's ankle get worse or something? The oddsmakers think an impact player might not play.. _________________ "My thirst for domination is fed only by the game. I refuse to get distracted by outside forces." - Kobe Bryant
If Kobe doesn't play, it provides a plus in several ways:
1) He gets more rest on his hand injuries (every little bit counts).
2) It will force players to feel how to play without their main scorer.
3) It provides Bynum a taste of what to work for going into the future. He would feel what first option (for stints when Gasol is out) for the first time in his career.
4) Someone has to step up in the 4th quarter, who will it be?
But against some of the biggest teams in a magnified light, you know what Kobe will already do.
