Great ball movement starts when role players understand their roles.

lol... shannon avgs about that much per game. This has hardly to do with shannon understanding his role because he has been doing it constantly.

With Socks and Gasol splitting 23 shots... The Key was Bryant taking only 20 shots. With a defense ducking in all directions the Lakers are a fortress...

This should be the blueprint for every game...

I'd be surprised if Fisher's tech didn't get rescinded.

I agree - Fish was guilty of standing his ground. That tech was bs unless I missed something.

Baron, on the other hand - totally blew his cool and tried throwing elbows at ever Laker in sight. They had to drag his @ss off, pointing and screaming all the way. Only thing that scared me was seeing Kobe follow right along hollering right back at Baron while they were dragging him away - Kobe doesn't need any more T's at this stage of the season.

First game resulted in a blowout of the Mavs.
Second game resulted in a blowout of the Clips.
I need to go to more games.

Staples Center is the Home of the Lakers ONLY!!!

Best Wishes to the Clippers but they should move to the Honda Center.

The Los Angeles Clippers of Anaheim!

He wasn't listed in the line-up. Anyone know why?

Has anybody else noticed that Fisher has gotten in these altercations frequently in the past year?

For the first 14 years of his NBA career, Fisher has never once had any trace of getting into any sort of physical or verbal conforntation with an opposing player, but coincedentally, we have seen Fisher be very aggressive on two seperate, but noticeable occasions in the past year. The first was Lakers v Rockets in the playoffs when he threw that vicious elbow on Luis Scola that would make an MMA instructor proud, and the second incident being tonight's incident with Baron Davis.

Fish may be old, he may have lost a step, and he may not make his shots like he used to, but Fish is a leader on the team. Both mentally and inspirationally. If you notice, both of his recent altercations have been in defense of his teammates. With Scola, it was Walton who had gotten into an alteraction with Scola the previous play, and tonight he was protecting Pau Gasol. Thats something that doesnt show up in the box score but it is invaluable to the teams chemistry and success much more than 2 blocks or 3 steals ever will be.

I AGREE 100%
Clippers must feel discourage playing in the staples center having to look at all those Gold championship banners.. Laker Dynasty lives on!
