well said Capt.Skyhook....team effort, hustle, focus. I hope the team keeps this up. _________________ Pancho's Happy Bottom Riding Club |

Many of Bynum's touches today were in the mid-post and he did just fine with them. while we'd like for him to get deeper in the post, if he's got a hot hand and is showing effort like he was today, get him the ball in the mid-post if necessary. Considering we don't have an offense in which our guards penetrate to get open shots for other players or themselves, let's work the inside out approach that has worked consistently thorughout the years, no matter who the big. Use the inside play to open up the rest of the court. no reason not to do that. |

Phil is all about keeping his players ready at all times and he isn't afraid to lose ball games as a result. He has consistently had lineups in various situations that make fans go but he continues to make them work. |

Effort, effort, effort. It looks like the team is figuring out as a collective whole, rather than the starters coming back around and the bench remaining sunk. To me, that is the most important thing to take from tonight. |

We went from an 8 point lead to tie score... Bynum got zero touches during that time. I'm glad we won but Phil needs to put his foot down and make sure we run the right plays in the 4th. Sure we won this game but it's a losing formula. Farmar, Brown and Kobe should have been looking for Drew but they were just looking for themselves. It's Phil's job to correct that DURING the game! |

Someone remind me, was Fisher this ineffective at the same time last season? I swear it seemed like Fish was only startling to fall off towards the end of last season, not before the halfway mark. |

I didn´t understand either. Drew had an wonderful game in the first half, didn´t miss anything and he had less touches in the 2nd half. Artest was also playing well in the 1st half, posting up and scoring, and he didn´t have that in the 2nd half.
But we won it so YEY! _________________ Portuguese Laker!

I had a problem in that we were running pick and roll with Bynum and Kobe. Kobe couldn't escape coming off the screen so it was a uesless play, on the backside of it we were going iso with LO at the free throw line extended which worked but seemed like a foolish play design.
I thought the better way to go was Bynum in the post make the Mavs trap then kick out to shooters. But hey it all worked out just barely.
PJ gets locked onto things and it seems sometimes he forgets what was working. He might have just figured with the 2 smaller guards they'd match up better chasing JT off the screens.
I don't know.
He did make some great strategic adjustments like running the offense through Luke with JT on him. |

An Another Andrew Bynum/Tim Duncan impression tonight!!!

If you don't allow him to shoot open threes and long twos in transition, he becomes useless. _________________ ¡Hala Madrid! |
