Can someone give a report on Kobe's injury. I did not see the game... only the highlights and saw him walking to the locker room with what seemed like a limp. What made him check out?
Back spasms? Hmmm... sounds like he will be ok. Needs some rest though. They really should think about giving him a few games off to get the finger under control a bit and mend a little.

Probably should just give him the night off tomorrow, give him a couple extra days of rest. Tough game to win even with him in there. _________________ **Bling** Cubed LakerStats.com - Stastistical History of the Lakers Franchise

We had a chance to come back entirely when we shred the lead to 6 .
Then Phil puts in Fish, Jordan, and Shannon at the same time
The Lakers were trying to post up Drew on HOF DUNCAN most of the time
When I think They should of kept RON ARTEST in.
George Hill or Manu have absolutely NO CHANCE of guarding him in the post.
Especially when Kobe went out , it was a perfect time to let Ron take over.
i say next time we play in portland just play the bench the whole game. i'm pretty sure kobe's injures are related to getting demolished up there with no call all night. it's not worth it. let portland have their rigged win and get knocked out in first round.
good game by the spurs tonight though. just hope we can pull it together for tomorrow. after the last blowout of the mavs i was pretty sure the league would make sure they make a "statement" back even if they need help but we'll see.
This has been a brutal stretch for the team--really not worth watching. It's kind of surprising they still have the best record in the league the way they're coasting these days (though I'm pretty sure Cleveland and Boston catch us by tomorrow when we play Dallas). Lot more injuries this time around, but last season it seemed our guys played with more of a chip on their shoulder after losing to Boston.
It's not good to be asleep at the wheel the rest of the way when homecourt seems to be an even bigger factor this year. Topping that off with all the mounting injuries and we've got a big problem.
Description at NBA.com is "Spurs Prove They Can Hang With Lakers".
Really? All they proved is that they can whoop a wounded Laker team that's struggling right now. Let me see them "hang with us" when we're fully healthy and playing our best ball. _________________ Repeat Champs Baby!!!
