Oh my god my heart literally sank when he fell like that. You noticed how quiet the Staples Center got. Seeing Kobe get up and smile made my night (no homo). But he's gonna be hurting like hell after the game though...hopefully the 2 days rest will help him feel better in time for the big game on Friday.

This could be an interesting 1 vs 8 matchup in the playoffs. It could definitely be a 6 game series.

Awesome games from three guys tonight in particular:

Kobe 40 points (14/26, 12/14 FT), 8 boards, 6 dimes (clutch FTs!)
Westbrook 21 points, 13 dimes, 7 boards
Durant 30 points (10-19)

Glad to see all starters in double figures AND a nice game from LO.

Perimeter defense was awful. Our bigs had 9 blocks as a result.

The Thunder also have a lot of cap space too, all they need is a legit low post scorer and they're going to be tough for years to come.

A win is a win, Lakers pretty much played their C game throughout (except for Kobe, and earlier Gasol) and we still pulled through.

that was an UGLY fall.. If that happened to Bynum his career would have ended and his children would have been born with knee problems

Kob will be sore for sure.. he is just crazy strong

Yall hear how pissed off he got at Artest for asking him how his finger was the day after it got injured...

Kobe just don't think he goes

All of the Thunder starters can put the ball on the floor and get to the rim and it really exposed our lack of quickness (*cough* FISHER) on the perimeter. Even Kobe was having problems staying in front of Durant.

I thought Pau and Andrew did a great job in the 2nd half challenging shots. It forced the Thunder to take more shots from the perimeter.

Despite our inability to put them away early, I thought it was a very exciting game.

Lakers did enough, and got the win, still counts as a W, no matter how ugly. Thankfully Kobe's injury wasn't anything.

Hard to say, looked he hyper-extended his knee, but he played through it and seemed all right. Probably be a little sore tomorrow though. Said after the game he was fine.

That being said, the Lakers played so bad, it almost feels like a loss.

A small cheer for this win --- here's hoping the real Lakers show up on Christmas.

the thunder played real well!! Other than the layup disasters all around, the lakers did gut it out well...

Oh no doubt, Thunder can take it to the Lakers. Big props to these kids.

True! What was disheartening was the sheer number of dunks the thunder got... our bigs seemed slow on rotations tonight..

Stolen from Seattle. I have no respect for that franchise. .

I've got plenty of respect for the players, but as far as the owner of that franchise is concerned, I agree J-M.
