As Kobe let the ball go, the clock reads 0.4
I just noticed that.
And Fisher made the last Laker basket.
Oh, and the sky is blue |

and chalmers was about to double team kobe's shot but fisher was open on kobe's left so chalmers had to respect that, even though there was no time to pass it. |

Kobe whines more than any other player in the league. The lakers as a team were terrible last year in terms of whining, but have done a better job this year. _________________ They who endure, conquer. Kobe Bryant 34-48 2004-2005. |

He's our effing best post player! Use it! Stop making him operate from 23 feet out. It's stupid. Especially when Pau and Bynum couldn't finish a post move to save their lives. |

Man that was some terrible offense down the stretch. In the post would have been great, and I would have even settled for just giving him the ball and everyone getting out of the way. It seemed though we were trying some type of set play that was wasting 90% of the shot clock. _________________ Lakers Gonna Lake |

Not sure how much more a difference it would have made. Bynum and Gasol averaged 20-21 points between each other on 50% shooting, and were good at the line. Miami was starting to box it in, because the Lakers were hitting blanks all night from 20 foot out. Also, because the Lakers were shooting so many blanks, they were getting long rebounds which enabled Miami to turn around and push pace.
The team defense wasn't good tonight, but I actually felt the offense was the bigger problem. (And remember, before Gasol came back, the lakers offense was struggling and basically lost 2 games because they couldn't get a rhythm on points.) Just not falling tonight.

Our defense was awful.
Bynum feel free to box out once in a while. Our pick and roll defense wasn't their out of no focus and determination. The Heat wanted it more with physical play and diving for loose balls and we still won |

ummm, bynum and pau were dominating the post. we started clanking 3pt'rs left and right, that's what f'd up our offense. |

Another thing I saw on replays.
At 46 seconds to go, the ball is passed to Kobe on the inbounds pass. He walked about 2 and a half steps, palmed the ball and nobody noticed. He shuffled his feet for sure. _________________ Never argue with stupid people! They will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience!! - Twain |

I think the flaw was starting out with Kobe on Wade and have him picked up two quick fouls. The idea was to let Kobe guard Wade and have Bynum and Gasol punishing them inside. Unfortunately, Gasol can't take advantage of JO consistently, and Bynum seems to alternate between "slim" and "big" biceps each game, and when he's slim, he doesn't have the strength to impose his will offensively, and really, doesn't even have enough strength on the jumpers.
The good news is that every time he slims down, he seems to get a little more spry. Can't wait how he'll look when he gets big(and everytime it's a little bigger than the last "big" mode) again. The team just needs to remember that when he's slim, he's less effective offensively.
Anyway, if the plan was to go over the screen every time, then we could have just let Artest do it, and save Kobe's energy for offense. |

If you saw the look one of the refs gave Kobe after he made that bank shot at the end of the 2nd qrt... there really isn't need for confirming anything, refs are out to get Kobe plain and simple. |

He overshot Kobe just a bit.
Can't blame him, he was sitting for so long he probably lost track of time and space. | Dude you're funny! I don't think Ammo even looked at Kobe. Maybe he thought someone else made it. |

OMG!
I went to bed when the score was 81-88 and I thought that we'll win easy.
Few minutes ago I turned on PC and... shock!
Amazing game winner for Kobe - it proves that Kobe is the best player NBA now!
Now I'm waiting for Suns.
What a night! |

now since the Lakers are so damn good this year, the refs have to give tons of extra calls to the other teams. kobe gets less, pau gets less, everyone gets less.
games on espn and abc are always ones i dread.
christmas day against the cavs i guarantee foul trouble for our bigs and/or artest. lebrick will shoot ft all day. can't wait |
