Say what you want about Thomas... he is money at the line. When it counts. Every time.
The only player on this team I can say that about |

That's why the little guy has value. |
the comeback happened because Luke set him, and our defense began to get stops....(and our guys begin to hit shots)....but that comeback does not happen if Luke leaves IT out there |
I respect Luke for doing it. I've said that he should be used strategically in the fourth and Luke did that. |
I guess....I just see a guy that gives up as much or more than he scores....we were down 12 with less than 7 minutes to go, then we immediately go on a 27-11 run to close the game. His defense and TO's likely gave the Spurs more than the 21 he scored. |
Isaiah was bad tonight... and he still scored 21. My contention has been that you use him to get ahead of teams and then use Hart to lock down the win. All I care about is if the team wins... don't care how we get there.
Luke left Randle/Zo out way too long... but I'm glad we pulled it out.
It also really hurt to have Zo in foul trouble all night... Zo really helps cover his ass... Amazing teammate. |
That's how Boston covered for ITs poor D with good team D...and our best team defender was as you point out in foul trouble |
they were not that great at it....they were 10 points worse on defense with him on the court |

Be honest many of you thought my prediction was on point early in the 4th... no one saw that ending coming but I’ll take it |
Ok to be fair...spurs have been struggling and are injured
Let's see how we do vs the blazers who have had our number |
That is great win. When one of our star down. And we are a young team. Got to love Lakers fan . The glass always half empty. Clueless |
Sam:
You are seriously rude with the "clueless " comments here and then calling Adkindo a clueless idiot.
Mods, I agree with adkindo, please show this guy a temp ban.

His offense was pretty good and his TOs weren't the boneheaded ones like the team was committing most of the game. The team just has to learn to always help him out on defense and let him do his thing on offense when he's on. There's really no other way to play the guy. |
but I can...and it's not just his size....guys often get by him with ease....I do not recall size really being an issue tonight...it was just him continuing to get beat off the dribble, back cuts, etc. It is gimmicky....and guys like Zach Lowe and Tim Bontemps were even pointing this out last season.....he was scoring a lot, but his net rating was not nearly as good. If you score 20 a night, but are the primary reason the other teams scores 15-20....there is limited value in the player. |

IT was fine it was Ennis getting lost and not having BI to lean on that got us in a hole |

I'm beginning to think if we won out the rest of the way that it might not be enough to get the 8th seed. The West is on fire right now.
But still loving the progress and our future. |

it is nearly impossible....our goal should be getting to 42 wins....then we are actually a winning team again. |

Yep and the context as well...game threads are much more a "hanging out at a bar" and watching game feel as we post oohs and aahs and our immediate emotions come out. Can you imagine we are all just hanging out having a beer watching a game and then afterwards giving some quick thoughts before we leave and some guy walks by and says:
"You are all clueless idiots"
😮 |

I think 38-40 would suffice.
Big improvement from 26 |

He's basically the guy you bring off the bench and tell him, "just don't make it worse when the starters come back." What he gives up on defense you know he has the ability to even it up offensively. You just hope there's enough stops during that run that he comes out as a net positive. That's how I see the guy for the team. During the regular season that's okay. He's a huge liability in the postseason though. |
