He can't or he would.

Small stretches, you will see the old Pau but he can't do it for very long.

sad isn't it?

The lakers were down 4 pts when they were pulled.

They caught up, withstood a run, and managed to keep together. That's what you expected and got. This was after the starters bring it below 8-10 pts.

Pau, I love you. However, as an ardent supporter and member of #TeamPau let me just say that if you played like this all the time folks wouldn't be up in your face. Whine less, play hard more. And Kobe says catch the ball more and stop giving him turnovers. LOL!

Pau stepped up and challenged guards off the screen, moved his feet and length to force difficult looks, grabbed a couple of boards, and got a big block. Why oh why can't he do that more consistently? If it's a question of endurance, then he needs to do NOTHING but work on his conditioning.

I agree with your last sentence and think that might be true. he had to take all summer off, basically trained in camp and then got thrown into hefty minutes. he needs to make it his priority to condition more so he can give us 30-32 solid minutes of effort. until he gets to that point, dantoni needs to manage his minutes because i will take 22 minutes of solid pau effort over 32 of crap.

This was a typical Laker win when they were championship contenders. Suck all game, stay close, you think they will lose and then the last few minutes they squeeze their sphincters and boom, they win by 3.

Also needs to grow a beard, so it looks more dramatic.

Kobe: 8/15 FG 21 pts 8 ast 7 reb 7 TOs

Less TOs and this is exactly the line we need to see every night from #24 for this team to compete.

he also loves blocking potentially game winning 3's (which i realize overlaps with ray allen often ). had another one earlier this season didn't he?

We won this game how we won rings: Kobe coming up clutch on O, and Pau coming up clutch on D along with the rest of the team. Too bad the circumstances and stakes are 100000000 x smaller.

Two of those were Pau's fault. But yes, he needs to be more careful.

Pau is a clutch blocker. Back then the games were close because the other teams were just really good like us as well.

Nowadays the games are close because Pau stinks it's up for the first half. Injury and age obviously but it's the brutal honest truth
