hmm consider smush got 2 steals(or 1 steal 1 deflected shot) and felton hasn't scored alot I wouldn't say smush is bad at D |

Lakers are an embarrassment on the defensive end. Kobe has goten beaten twice by Derek Anderson. Nobody is getting the defensive rebounds. What a poor performance so far to start the game. Lakers have lost too many games against the weaker teams with this type of play.
They need to start playing more aggressively. Especially Bynum, he could've dunked the ball at least 2 or 3 times and elected for a layup which he missed. |

Andre Miller with a trip-double tonight 12-12-13 _________________ "He's a Zen master, so he can speak to you, and he doesn't need a microphone; you can hear him in your head, 'Ron, don't shoot, don't shoot.' Whatever, pow, three. I love the Zen, though." |

I dont see us winning this if this continues.
This team looks like it studied game tape and you know what the coach said to them:
"Listen guys, they want us taking outside shots. Dont settle for it....take it strong. Ray, GW, Anderson....all of you, just attack the hoop because their big men are slow to rotate and foul prone and hteir perimeter is weak with Smush and Walton"
And you know what.....The coach would be right. |

Just no energy at all...from ANYONE.
I hope this doesn't turn into a Bynum bash fest, because no one came to play thus far. Bynum missed some shots and is off. But everyone else looks like they don't even want to play today.
I think they'll wake up at some point though, it's the Bobcats, we'll comeback in due time... |

Odom is looking slow and not ready, but you cant blame the guy. Kobe isn't 100 percent this season. I just can't stand watching his D |

Well, at least im not hte only one who thinks the lakers are making themselves a putrid mess right now.
My biggest question for this team is this:
WHAT has happened to this teams defense man?!?!??!
Last year we gave up 96.0 ppg man! |
