Embiid actually blocked it and the ball spun off his hands into the hoop. Unlucky physics is all. |
uh huh

the thing about physics is if he had blocked the shot, the ball would have went in the opposite direction.....but Brown powered it through the attempt and probably should have got the foul call. It takes a pair to challenge the big man 1 on 1 at the rim. |
It spun off Embiid's hands and even looks like it touches the glass before going in.
Did Brown's hand touch the rim? If not, then there ain't no dunk. |
I never described as a dunk |

I still believe in Fultz eventually getting out of his funk, but that Sixers-Celtics trade may have shaped the future of three marquee NBA franchises for the next decade in very unexpected ways. _________________ Under New Management |

Celtics own the 76ers.
On paper the 76ers would match up well, but seems like they always get a quality ass kicking from the Celtics. |

Things about basketball that confuse me #1:
Al Horford swats Embiid all night in the post.
Joel Embiid destroys Julius Randle in the post.
But Julius destroys Al Horford in the post.
How can this make sense? _________________ Under New Management |

This is a laughable assertion after one half of the first game of the year.
FWIW, the Celtics went 22-8 against the almighty West last season....and they're unquestionably improved this year. |

I wouldn't count out Steph, that guy looks as if he's on a mission. |
Oh, I meant in the East.
GSW and Houston should be a factor, especially if the Boogie experiment pans out. |

Pelicans looking good at the start... might have to upgrade their chances at making the playoffs.
Looks like Julius traded one bench for another unless he's hurt. |

Off to a good start except for the free throw... if that three wasn't a fluke... we will definitely have some seller's remorse. |

I have a feeling Randle will have a big year for NOLA.
They could be underrated right now. Anthony Davis publicly said that he thinks he's the best player in the league. _________________ Lakers 49ers Chargers Dodgers |

So not only did Randle's agent get him a terrible deal, he also got a bench role?
Mirotic looks like he will get huge minutes at the 4. And Davis is a beast. Randle's last hope for a big piece of the pie is a Davis injury.
Meanwhile, Jabari Parker is starting with a huge contract. Randle, you need to get a new agent. |

he will start by default due to Markkanen's injury.
Anyway, Randle needs big minutes for his big contract next offseason. Hopefully he does really well because his agent is trash at selling him. |
