FWIW,.. I’m not sure BI is able to reach the levels he’s at right now playing beside of Bron. Bron loves to TALK about changing how he plays to last longer,.. but the fact is he never does. He’s a GOAT level player and for better or worse,.. he is an offense unto himself and simply would not be able to play off the ball enough to get BI AND AD what they need in regards to touches.
But BI has gotten so much better off ball this season, he is 8th in the entire league in catch and shoot points at a ridiculous 70% eFG he would even be better with AD and Bron, imagine BI getting wide open looks and 1 on 1 coverage lol bbq chicken 🍗
He’s playing well but he’s hot and the shooting efficiency is not sustainable for him or anyone really.
Obviously the 40% from deep MAY not be sustainable, but never say never. It’s not like he’s been hard. He’s actually had a couple games in the low 40% shooting wise.
AD trade revised, basically, Lebron for AD, keep BI, Hart, Ball, Wagner, etc. and have the youngsters with AD and Lebron is a Pelican.
Would the Lakers b better than their current r cord, would BI be playing as well here? Would the Pelicans have a better record with Lebron than they do now?

Probably better not to initiate a question by labeling the audience it's intended for.
I also think it's a silly proposition. People who were high on Ingram understand that he needed to be included in the trade for a future HOF.
The issue some have is that maybe the Lakers gave up too much, not that any one single player had too much value to be included. So with all due respect your question doesn't make any sense at all.

Nice question
What about this one:
What we got in exchange for DeAngelo, Randle, T. Bryant, Zubac, Wagner and Svi?

Can't get AD without giving up the youths but hypothetically if we were to trade LeBron for BI/Ball/Hart (prob just these 3 would make same $ as LeBron by next season, BI should be maxed out ala DLo)... we won't be as good cause LeBron is balling at MVP level right now but would've been fun to watch in the next 4-5 years.. and I don't think we would have better chance at a chip than AD-LBJ combo
In the short term, the answer is the Lakers did what they had to do to get AD, and it has works out great for us so far. I the short term, assuming AD re-signs, and we have good health the next 2-3 years, we have a good playoff and championship window.
Lebron, wouldn’t have gone to the Pelicans, they got Zion, who they see as their future star. What they got was our picks and a couple years on our younger players. Zion getting hurt, worked great for BI, he needs to be the man to pound the ball, and his stats have been good on a losing team. It’s exactly what we had here the past few years, a good young player putting up points on a 20-35 wins team. Clarkson, Nance, Randle, DLO, Ingram, Ball, Hart, Zubac, and a few others.
Randle I think we would have tried to keep, IF we we weren’t getting Lebron. He didn’t stick around with the Pelicans ( again because of Zion), it will be interesting to see if Ingram stays and gets paid a big contract next year.
Really, the only guy we jettisoned that has played well on a winning team are DLO in the East (not out here in the West) and Zubac on the Clippers. If we stay healthy and make the playoffs the next couple of years it’s a big win for us.
I wish the youngsters well, maybe they couldn’t become who they need to be here in LA, but as long as they don’t end up playing for the Celtics, I wish them all well.
It will all depend on whether or not AD re-signs. That is the crux everything lays upon. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

And the Lakers' "chances" are all but perfect on that front. Lol. His agent guided him to LA to play with Lebron. Lakers did everything to get him. Lakers are 12-2. I don’t know if they’re winning a chip but they’re a top 5 contender for it. Anthony Davis isn’t going anywhere. This isn’t 2013 Howard. _________________ 17 time World Champions
In 10 games, BI has already made nearly as many 3's as he did all of last year. It's pretty nuts he's at 44% from 3, when he's hoisting 3 times as many 3's per game as last year. Props to him for that - always wanted to see him develop his 3-point shot and take them with confidence, which he is doing this year.
AD will sign, but he will most likely sign for 1+1
Given his agent (see Lebron second run with CLE) and our payroll, I'd exclude a longer contract.
Is that the way he can get the most money?
No, that would be a 3 year contract with a player opt out after 2.
Are you sure?
If he will opt out at the end of the 1st year and then resign for the max with another 1+1, he should get more money in the first two year than in the 2+1 situation

He won’t have 10 year’s service until after the 2021-2022 season. He is at 8 years after this season. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023.
It's funny when people tried to debate the ceilings of Kuz/BI. Pretty clear that BI had the much higher ceiling even if Kuz (thanks to age) had a higher floor relatively speaking.
Happy to see him doing well. Wish it could have been on the Lakers but he was one of the main reasons we got AD too. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals

BI prob gonna make similar to DLo, bout $29+mil, so it’s LBJ+AD should make close to BI+DLo+ Ball, I think it worked out well for all teams involved

Its funny how some really prominent posters on this board were trashing BI saying hes the worst starter in the league have gone silent

It’s funnier that what they posted was something you obviously didn’t understand. Mathematically he was his rookie year. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023.

The issue is what some of these posters tried to project Ingram would never be. They were using the data as a crystal ball.

No, they were reporting factual stats at that time. I was one who posted that he would have a slow start but improve in subsequent seasons. He was nowhere close to a good NBA player as a rookie. And I expect him to keep improving. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023.
