Phil just doesn't care much about defense. This has to be one of the worst defensive teams to take the court in some time. _________________ "Why do you think bad things happen, anyway???" "So we have something good to look forward to."

Now Kobe tries to become aggressive.

anyone got odds on Lamar becoming the invisible man again? |
It's one thing for Lamar to disappear when Kobe is in attack mode being uber-aggressive. It's whole other problem when Kobe is out there practically handcuffing himself offensively and Lamar still won't take the reigns.
I just don't understand. _________________ So glad we gave you your flowers while you were here, Kobe. |

A little too late. You should have been playing with some urgency since the opening tip-off. |

Wouldn't this be the PERFECT time for Bynum and Turiaf to be getting some game minutes???
I'm sorry, but this is bleeped up. I almost want Phil to just retire and get it over with. _________________ "Why do you think bad things happen, anyway???" "So we have something good to look forward to."

No one has bashed Kobe. People are concerned 1) For his health. No one wants him to aggrevate his injury and 2) his ability to contribute to this team when he's like this. Sometimes part of leadership is being a cheerleader and a coach until you can get back and do what you do. |

optimistically, we've got to accept that our team is understrength right now. kobe is clearly not ready yet, we've got a few new players still learning the triangle, and kwame still to return. we can only get better.
hopefully. |

that's easily bad coaching...I don't know how the Phil "9 rings" crowd can spin that... _________________ "Now, if life is coffee, then the jobs, money & position in society are the cups. EVERY team figured out the Lakers already.. Bynum gets suffocated and Parker gets eaten up, plus we have an injured "shooter" jacking up bricks..
Oh, and our superstar is not himmself, and our second best, suddenly thinks hes a 3 point threat
