Question about the draft this year. Should the Pelicans decide to not use our pick this year, is our draft pick next year protected in any way? Especially if it is a top 3 pick?

If edey is there I really hope they take him. I think he can come in and be a rotation player right away. If that’s the case Christian wood can replace the backup 4 minutes that rui will leave open after trades. I don’t think young or Mitchell will require 3 FRP to obtain. _________________ “like I never left”

The Grizzlies and the Heat are both eyeing Edey -_-
If Edey goes to the freaking Heat under Spo and the Lakers miss out..... _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

good thing they have to make that decision before they find out if lebron is staying or leaving, lol

It’s crazy because we need a bigman and he’s ready to contribute right away. Every player has flaws and we don’t need to hit a home run right now since we already have AD and Bron. We need pieces that can contribute around them and edey can do that!
JHS and Christie both need to be rotation players this offseason after we make this big trade for Mitchell, Ingram or young. _________________ “like I never left”

You had me until JHS needing to be a rotation player
For what it’s worth I’m guessing Edey goes before 17 since this draft sucks. I’ve read enough chatter that some execs have him ranked highly.
then what about Cligan,Flip,Ware,Mesi,Sarr,Homes,Smih..what happens to the others that were already said to be above him..lol.Does that mean someone has to come down as all year the usual college names have been the same with no change.
Nikola Djurisic might be the steal of the draft. Have saw him in 2nd rounds in a lot of mocks. _________________ "He's a Zen master, so he can speak to you, and he doesn't need a microphone; you can hear him in your head, 'Ron, don't shoot, don't shoot.' This would trigger LeBron so badly. _________________ Lakers Offseason Goal:
- Draft Zach Edey (or Kel'el Ware)
- Sign Jonas Valanciunas or Nicolas Claxton
- sign and trade DLO to not lose value
- sign a coach that’s not an idiot

I think this draft is flat and will be extremely unpredictable once we get out of the top 10-12.
The Lakers’ first round pick at 17 is near the middle of the draft’s second tier, some scouts believe. That tier includes players like Ja’Kobe Walter, Terrence Shannon, Tidjane Salaun, Jared McCain, Devin Carter, Yves Missi, Kyle Filipowski, Tyler Smith and Tristan da Silva

We better not pick Kyle Filipowski, the guy with a negative wing span over Zach Edey. Dude has also been trash at the combine. It would be the biggest tease I've ever seen. _________________ Lakers Offseason Goal:

Terrence Shannon will be the steal of the draft if we get him at 17...Thank GOD the Lakers brass will see how slow Edey is at workouts and PASS. _________________ Creatures crawl in search of blood, To terrorize y'alls neighborhood.
How can you be taller and have longer arms, yet have the same standing reach?
Good posture? More flexible spine?
It doesn't make sense to me.

AJ Johnson. Does everything Bronny can do, but has a higher ceiling and is 6'5 with a 6'8'5" wingspan. Played international in the NBL this season but like most prospects only got about 7 mins a game. But the talent and ability is very clear. Had he went to Texas as originally intended he'd likely have been a lottery pick.
Averaged 20/8.5 with 2.1 blocks a game
54% from the field 38% from three
Went 18/25 on the Three Point Shooting Drill.
official measurements
Height: 6'8.75" (without shoes) 6'10 (in shoes approx)
Weight: 236.2 lbs
Wingspan: 7'1"
34 Inch Max vertical, which for a 6'9 guy isn't bad.
28 PTS 7 REB 5 BLK vs Cincinnati Bearcats
Quick off the floor, shot blocker, very efficient inside or from mid, and above average 3 point shooter.
Both these two are greater prospects than Bronny at 55, ESPECIALLY Holmes. If you care at all about defense and want a 6'10 defensive player that could score in college, is reliable inside, quick first and second jump, and can hit the three with regularity... you go with him if he's still there by that pick.

Nique Clifford and Isaiah Crawford look intriguing to me as late second / undrafted upperclassmen wing defenders with versatility, motor and signs of ability to stretch the floor. They aren’t in a lot of mocks except No Ceilings is so high on Clifford they give him a first round grade.
