Manhunt is pretty good on A+. Curious about Franklyn I’m just not a huge Michael Douglas fan.

I'm really enjoying Animal Patrol.

Maybe its because I like Joel McHale. But in general, the characters are all just so likable.

Yes. I think Patel is hilarious but they're all good the more they get comfortable in their roles.

I'm just concerned when I like a sitcom it gets cancelled.

Is the Animal Patrol or Animal Control?

I thought that's what kik meant. I have it on my IPTV.

The Sympathizer has gotten worse with time. It had a strong start. But its become increasingly more difficult to watch.

Meanwhile, I hear Sugar finally dropped its twist apparently. In episode 7 out of 8. I have been waiting to watch it cause I wanted to binge it. But I guess I'll start the binge today. I can wait a week for the finale.

Does it still have a lot of foreign language dialog? I stopped watching because that made it difficult to follow.

First episode they were in Vietnam. So there was alot of Vietnamese spoken with accompanying English subtitles.

Since episode 1, it has mostly taken place in America. So less Vietnamese dialog.
But it just isn't very good. Particularly the most recent episode. It had great actors. The plot points were good. But it was a struggle for me to finish. Maybe it is the dialogue or the pacing. I dunno. Just wasn't interesting.

Damn you kik. You got me binging again. 😡🤬This time on Animal Control. The character interaction is interesting, love, hate, learning, teaching. Can't wait to see if Emily ever hooks up with Fred.

At least it is a fun, enjoyable watch.

Sugar has its claws in me right now. I'm on episode 4. It isn't light hearted. It's not a comedy. But I'm a sucker for detective shows. And I've always liked Colin Farrell.

I'm finally watching Abbott Elementary now too. I'll probably try to finish off season 2 as a palate cleanser.

Go to hell kik. I'm not gonna let you hook me on another series. ..... I meant Emily and Fred

Same here. Been watching Sugar intensely. Idk what it is but I enjoy it. Similar reasons as you. It’s not an amazing show by any means though. I actually am on episode 7 and just got hit with the twist. Paused it for the Dodgers game and still don’t know how I feel about it. Might wait for 8 to drop and watch it all together.

Ya. I don't know how I feel about the twist either. Apple TV can't just do a typical, run of the mill, detective show. Like HBO has done many times.

I definitely saw it coming. There was alot of foreshadowing if you focus on the protagonist's dialogue.

The twist gives the show a new genre. Normally that elicits a strong reaction for me. Be it positive or negative. But I'm undecided at this point. Have to see what they do with it.

Finished Sugar. Overall I enjoyed it.

Started A Man in Full. Not bad. It’s a limited series so I’m going to finish it. Currently on episode 3. Some good moments..a lot of bad ones but it’s kept me interested.

I started Ripley on Netflix. It's a limited series based on The Talented Mr. Ripley novel. So far I am enjoying it, although i already know where the story goes.

I was going to start this and then decided I should watch the movie first. After watching the movie I figured there was no point in watching the same thing again right away. Maybe I’ll come back to it in a couple of years.

Watching both back to back is alot.

The movie had a better cast (obviously). You can't beat Damon, Paltrow, Law with a TV cast.

But Ripley the show is better than the movie. Fantastic acting and cinematography.
Make sure to circle back to it after you have your pallet cleansed with other stuff.

The Bear season 3 is a little over a month away! June 27th. And like always. We'll get all 10 episodes at once.

A Gentleman in Moscow is good.

It's tough to not like Ewan McGregor.

I've really enjoyed so many Showtime Originals throughout the years. Hopefully Paramount doesn't gut the infrastructure Showtime has to produce quality television.
