Streak Breakers:
Cleveland's 23 game home winning streak
Houston's 11 game home winning streak
Boston's 6-game home winning streak
little anthem girl's 7-0 streak
John Ireland's 10-0 prediction streak (said Lakers win Tuesday)
Orlando never losing 2 games at home in a row streak
Houston's "teams that beat Houston in playoffs never win championship" streak
Phil's Finals 0-2 streak (the THIRD time's the charm... sound familiar?)
Kobe's Finals 0-2 streak
LA Lakers 7 year non-championship streak
Curse breakers:
Dave Smith's hurtful and terrible "Curse of Chick" on-air schtick/abomination
Can't win without Shaq curse
Can't win with just Kobe curse |

Shaq also said back in 2006 that we had a curse for trading him and that the Lakers wouldn't win a title again. Guess that curse is over with as well. |

^ The only thing that the Curse of Shaq actually affected was Krispy Kreme. They are down to a few stores now. |

So I'm watching the replay on ESPN, and JVG mentioned that Rashard Lewis was a very versatile player on the HEAT. LOL. JVG also said ANDREW BATTIE instead of Tony Battie. LOL.
So I guess it was okay that JVG was a commentator. I still would've liked Mike Tirico and Hubie Brown for the telecast, and have Breen, JVG, and Jackson. |

LO was funny when he said that lol..he wanted to talk trash then he went on to say how getting traded is one of the worst things in basketball but he also acknowledged how both of them are lucky they were traded to Lakers....

Remember some Rockets fans were telling us about the curse of eliminating the Rockets? STREAK BUSTED tonight.
-------------------
No Eastern Conference team or Western Conference team that has eliminated the Rockets in rounds prior to the NBA Finals has ever gone on to win the championship.
The Lakers will be cursed if they go on and eliminate the Rockets, losing in either the West Finals or the NBA Finals.

1989 --- Seattle, eliminated by LA
1990 --- LA, eliminated by Phoenix

Done and Done!!!! _________________ Game 3 Victory in Denver . Mostly they were talking about Fisher's speech, the kind that might one day be put on T-shirts and repeated on the corner of 11th and Figueroa, words fit for a parade, his Lakers stepping into their destiny. L.A. Times 2009 |

Oh, yeah, I remember that mentioned by a Rockets fan here. That streak was busted tonight.
This Laker team was a streak buster, so it's fitting it busted up all these streaks.
