Here's what you might call a one-car-garage band, simple, raw, but interesting, catchy, and melodic. When they ramp it up, they remind me a bit of Mark E Smith, with a bit of of the B52's, and a lot of others, but they are their own sound.
This extended use of dual lead guitars is bound to confuse many hip-hop and rap fans, but this was how hippies used to jam back in the day:
That there one was most def rock and roll. One of my all time favorite albums--sorta live. Duncan and Cip were at top form--when that wah wah kicks in. . . . I listened again, and have listened to this, and the other Bo Diddly classic covering the entire other side, more times than just about any other two songs. Unfortunately people outside of NorCal didn't get the exposure we did.
Much of the album is in Spanish, but I worked at my dad's stereo tape shop, Music A Go Go, on Atlantic Blvd in Monterey Park, back in the mid 70's, and listened to a lot of Mexican music. Still dig it.

A little funky jazz-fusion vibe for your listening pleasure:

No offense, but the Ramones have a dozen or more songs better than that one that one, perhaps it is special to you because of some girl?
Anyway some of the classic Ramones songs include:
Blitzkrieg Bop
I wanna be Sedated
Beat on the Brat
Sheena is a Punk Rocker
Rock and Roll High School
We want the Airwaves
I wanna Live
Howling at the Moon
I just wanna have something to do
Teenage Lobotomy
In fact there is a 30-song greatest hits-type collection and that song is nowhere to be found on it:

Damn . . . that's some good (bleep). I really dig "Listen to Your Heart", talk about a slow jam. _________________ You thought God was an architect, now you know

Here is an old song from 1973, from a British Folk band named Magna Carta.
Even though the song came many years before the Lord of the Rings movie trilogy, someone plugged in some clips that sorta fit, but make for a cool experience none-the-less....

Well, we had us some tasty tandem guitar playing with Whipping Post, and any time I hear Duane I'm tempted to play one of his best, this most tasty blues tune off the first album of one of the early member's of the (Steve) Miller (Blues) Band.

Let it (Duane/Boz/the Muscle Shoals rhythm section) build. . . .
Nothing like the sound of a Hammond B3 run thru a couple Leslie Tone Cabinets .....
Edit:
I've loved this song for decades. Rumor has it that there is a can somewhere in Muscle Shoals with the full 45 minute recording. I'd love to hear that.

If you want to hear something from a Swedish band named The Spacious Mind, go ahead and click the YouTube link. What you will be rewarded with is a song that starts off rather slow, yet builds and builds and always JAMS...
Reminds me of what a 1968 Pink Floyd concert may have sounded like...
ALSO: I have a CD with the original version, which is 23 minutes long (yeow) _________________ “Always remember... Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots.”
