Please, no on Kidd. He's more of an "old school" coach. Playing mind games with his players, trash talking them, and a general lack of communication with them. Another Byron Scott basically. |

Kidd isn't a trustworthy person to employ on your team AT ALL. The guy is a dark cloud. And I'll leave it at that. |

I'm sure this is BS, they aren't going to dump walton for a second/third tier coach, if they dump walton I think it would be for a big name coach....I actually think Walton is fine, when he had a healthy team we were 4th/3rd ish in the West, given our roster that's pretty solid...if he has two all-stars on the squad don't see any reason we wouldn't be in further up |

Thanks. I was wondering who the hell was being quoted on this. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

Lakers rumors: we're getting Carmelo Anthony, and now we're getting Jason Kidd as head coach. What's next? Dirk coming to the Lakers and we only have to give up our young core? Allen Iverson making a comeback here? |

I’d rather have an old, part time Phil Jackson than Kidd |

I would rather have Jackson than Kidd but honestly Rick Pitino is a far better coach than either. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

It's not fair to judge our FO on rumors like this, but now seems like a good time to repeat: I do not trust Magic Johnson's judgement at all. |

Agreed it would make no sense. Walton isn’t a top tier coach (yet) but better than all these dumpster tier suggestions like Kidd and Mark Jackson. |

Honestly, the guy they should go after (though he's under contract) is Nate McMillian. |

Maybe Lawrence Frank can moonlight from his job with the Clippers and help Kidd coach home games. |

Yeah, I believe Stephen A because I’m guessing his source is Magic himself. So maybe somebody like SPO. Although Anthony Irwin threw out Monte Williams, who seems to be a great choice to me too.
Who’s reporting this Kidd BS? |

Man, the Bucks instantly got better when they fired Kidd. This would be a huge mistake. |
