This is what the NBA wanted though, and why everybody hates the spurs every time the spurs won they celebrated but NOTHING as unclassy as this.
NBA wanted to keep the came clean, yet they reward a ghetto team. nice |

I said it before, boston's a baseball town. NOW that the celtics have won of course, everyone will be behind them again - but it wasn't like that all season. most people didn't follow them, and there were people that didn't even like the idea of bringing in 2 all-stars just to buy a title.
and that's really what they did, but hey, we tried the same thing back in 2004...only they had some inside help (mchale). but, as someone else mentioned, this team isn't about durability, it's about instant gratification. They'll be like the Miami Heat - great this year, maybe next, but in 3-5 years they'll be clashing with the 76ers for that 8 spot again. |
