LOL who said that, MDA? (I muted his interview). I wonder what goes on with him regarding Hill...

Is this normal for a 25 year old to only play 21 minutes and be tired?

FTFY.

How is Lionel Hollins going to help? DAntonis system has these guys having career years.

Which guy? Blake?

Just about everyone outside of Gasol is playing way above expectations. This team was expected to be bad even with Kobe starting the season and now they're at .500 while playing with a bunch of minimum level journeymen that much of LG wanted to be cut at some point in the last year. I don't know how anyone could identify coaching as being the problem on a team that is overachieving.

No they aren't.

Not surprised you'd say that, I have always noticed that I don't watch the same game that you do.

I can read career stat sheets just fine. Apparently you can't.

Give him a break. The way he plays? He's allowed to be tired after big minutes. He fights for everything out there.

No but I wouldn't mistake a MDA snark-ism as a factual statement, either. LOL! No telling what's actually going on there...

"I THINK"

And he still got the most rebounds in 21 minutes. Couldn't finish over Brooklyn's bigs who were crowding him. So he has one bad game and he's a "scrub" because MDA "thinks" he's tired.

No, 32.

Okay. I will give him a break but people are playing him up around here like he is some kind of all star or something. He has zero post game and limited offensive abilities. He is a good energy / hustle guy and tenacious rebounder and I give him credit for that. But he is also injury prone so the jury is still out.

You're not watching him be the best finisher we have on the PNR? D'Antoni just said so. Trudell echoed him.

And "zero" post game. Don't know where you're getting this either. Hill has shown some good quick spin moves in the post as well as good touch.

I can't read them well enough to think that any coach would have a Jodie Meeks/Steve Blake led team tearing through the western conference. Ill get my eyes checked if you insist, but right now I just don't see it.

The rockets traded Hill for a 37 yr old Derek Fisher. Former lottery picks like Henry and Johnson were declared busts and let go for nothing. Farmar wasnt even expected to get back on to an NBA team. Suddenly these players that looked like they were on their way out of the league all look pretty useful.

We always seem to forget these guys are not used to playing heavy mins. The mins catching up on him, he will be fine. B2Bs are hard on players, no matter how young they are... Jordan does a lot of dirty work because for whatever reason Pau is just not a physical player

Main problem is that teams haven't been giving us that pick and roll for Hill on the road. They've been shutting down the passing lanes and putting bodies in Hill's way on his roll, so naturally his scoring efficiency dropped.

There isn't much else D'Antoni can say to a question like that. I didnt read much into it. Hill gets a lot of his points off PnR and garbage plays and he had a bunch of his usual shots rim out. I don't think it calls for panic.

This is where Nash usually pulls up and shoots to punish them for overplaying the roll man. Wish our PGs could do that.
