Thinking of road tripping to Portland or Reno / Tahoe just to watch this movie (amongst other things).
Movie is getting mixed reviews but looks awesome to me _________________ Billions Billions Billions |

It’s still not a great idea to sit in a movie theater with strangers who have probably not been taking precautions. _________________ 14-5-3-12 |

Don't go to a movie theater if you live in the United States. If Tenet is playing at a drive-in near you, then go and be cautious. _________________ Under New Management |

Not to mention the risks of spreading the virus on the road trip home and defeating the whole point of California's lockdown measures. _________________ You thought God was an architect, now you know

Been considering driving to Vegas to see it but undecided. The theater is a Dolby theater which is already spaced out due to large recliner seats + they are limiting to 40% max along with sanitizing, added ventilation, staggered times, and masks required. |

I'm thinking about raw dogging a bunch of girls on tinder.
This is the thread where we do things and ask what's the worst that could happen, right? |

It's disheartening that people are so willing to compromise any advances we have made in knocking the virus back simply to do something like see a movie. _________________ You thought God was an architect, now you know

is it bad that I think this movie will somehow be less good because it's rated pg-13 and not R?
reasoning being that the director/writer/etc likely had to tone down what they wanted to do so that it could reach a wider (read: more $) audience
obviously there are exceptions to this but it's my general view

Nope. It's not hard to tone down a R movie into PG-13. People can make out and initiate sex, just don't show explicit sex. People can cus, but not a ton. Explosions can happen and people can die. Just don't show gore. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better” |

Wanna show a genocide in your superhero movie? That cool, PG-13.
Show one tiddie for two seconds in any movie: that's a hard R.
America is so weird. I miss Paul Verhoeven in Hollywood all of a sudden. _________________ Under New Management |

yeah those are good points (I didn't realize that none of Nolan's are rated R, especially)
I guess it's mostly a thing for me for comedies (and action movies to a lesser extent)
I just like the notion of the director/writer/etc not having to hold back what they want to do _________________ one dog goes that way the other dog goes the other way |
