Tyler Hansborough is Mark Madsen with a couple of post moves. He will be exposed badly in the NBA where he will be playing against guys his size every night. He's slow and his defense is bad. |

False.
Madsen never got those kinds of numbers for his team, let alone leading his team among all the other McD All Americans against ACC competition.
Madsen he is not. I don't recall Madsen averaging 20-10 as a frosh getting double and triple teamed, let alone outplaying Greg Oden his senior year in HS for half a basketball game. _________________ Resident Car Nut.

i think he has a much higher b-ball iq than madsen.
much more of a "basketball player" than madsen who's mainly husstle.
tyler husstles too, but he has much more to his game.
i think they're very very different. |

If Thorn is smart, Hansborough is NJ bound. Has very good skills along with that indomitable will to succeed.
Mark Madsen, he certainly is not. _________________ Stephon Marbury on Kobe: "He's the only person on 'dis earth that can do 'dat. He guards people, like shuts 'em down. Then, to do 'dat on 'da offensive end. It's like 'Damn, I can't score on him AND he about to bust my ass." |

and eric dampier outplayed shaq for one game...
the guy is barely 6'8" and undersized pf in the league. hes pretty much madsen and najera with little more offensive capabilities. |

It's a loaded comparison. I don't even want to go there. But Hansbrough is definitely not a Madsen. |

I'll say this about Hansborough, I'm a lot higher on him succeeding at the next level that I was Sean May. _________________ Stephon Marbury on Kobe: "He's the only person on 'dis earth that can do 'dat. And Ben Wallace plays center at 6'8. So why can't Tyler play pf? |

Ben Wallace, in his prime, was a freak of an athlete and has the wingspan of a condor. Tyler is, like, the opposite of that. |

I think he's bordering on being underrated actually. _________________ Stephon Marbury on Kobe: "He's the only person on 'dis earth that can do 'dat. He guards people, like shuts 'em down. Then, to do 'dat on 'da offensive end. It's like 'Damn, I can't score on him AND he about to bust my ass." |
