Espn should have went for Shannon instead of Skip. Skip’s shtick of trolling for attention is beyond old. Shannon is way more entertaining and genuinely funny.

No way, Shannon is a great side kick persona but skip, like SAS, is the show. Shoulda never break up SAS-Skip

Money talks. Skip landed a four-year, $32 million extension from his current network, FS1. If I have it right ESPN offered him a 4 year $24 million deal.

Maybe already posted but it seems like the ratings for the guy who sympathized with a wife beater and made 2 comments about international players, drenched with racism are dropping since max departure

I think SAS has his sights set on a late night show. He has so much on his plate now I don't think he gets much sleep. Have to give him an A for work effort.

Stephen A. is definitely a hard worker but don't know where gets the idea he would be successful hosting a late night show LOL - don't think he has the likeability or comedic wit necessary for it. I believe a long, long time ago ESPN gave him a nighttime show that was set up in the traditional late night show format but that got cancelled after less than two years... I can't see him being successful in a similar format on a non-sports TV network.

Unless that late night show is on cable don't see that happening. Unfortunately, part of the mass appeal of late night show hosts on a major network is they have to play the game and make themselves vanilla to appeal to a wider audience.

Stephen A Smith hosted Jimmy Kimmel. He's screaming. That's not good to do a monolog.

They did and it sucked. Kobe was on one of the episodes.
