Hopefully we get glimpses of this in preseason....

Rondo
Monk
LBJ
Melo
AD

Gotta have both the shooters and athletic studs out there to utilize Rondo's playmaking.

The 3 guard line ups should be

Rondo
Monk
Ellington
Ariza
AD
Or
Westbrook
Nunn
Ellington
Lebron
Howard

Ellington is the best shooter on this team and he’s the one who will make the defense work most chasing him.

I'd rather see:

THT
Melo
Dwight

If he was as good a shooter as some here claim, he'd have gotten Duncan Robinson money from someone.

He's a role player, not some elite 3pt threat or constant off ball sniper threat.

Less than one calendar year ago, @RajonRondo played a key role in L.A.’s push towards the 2020 NBA title, with his high value off the court, plus this playoff production:

24.7 mpg, 8.9 ppg, 45.5% FG’s, 40.0% 3’s, 6.6 apg, 4.3 rpg, 1.4 spg

He’s officially back for 2021-22.

Dude stop it. If that’s your case then this whole team is overrated.

he is a great catch and shoot guy and also elite in pull up 3s, you can bet he will get a ton of open looks. Duncan robinson is young, we just need to hope that the lakers reduction to the elite shooters doesn't effect him.

Rajon Rondo said he’s back in L.A. to try and win another title, but to actually get a parade this time around. He’s excited about the Westbrook signing, and said he spoke to Frank Vogel this morning; Vogel relayed how much he missed Rondo in the locker room last season.

Rondo on the roster: “It’s a great roster. Rob did a hell of a job again … I think we’ll have a great team chemistry … training camp is going to be big for us."

Asked about his role, Rondo said that will be determined by the coaching staff, but his “main focus is if we win, nothing else matters.” He said it “hasn’t been 10 years” since he won the title in L.A. (hasn’t even been 1 year!), and he doesn’t think his game has declined.

The last sentence were he says his game hasn’t declined makes me think he was really playing loose with no focus with the Clippers, he knows the Lakers are his team and if he wins another title with us he might have to be considered a Lakers legend as opposed to a Celtics legend.

If the documentary "Uncle Drew" has taught me anything, old people who love the game of basketball can definitely still play.

Welcome back Rondo. Let's get number 18.

I think Rondo will help Westbrook average the most assists in his career. Rondo can also teach him about winning without a jumper. I really like our PG rotation.

West / Nunn / Rondo

This whole "they are old" narrative is so overblown, and people are eating it up......until the Lakers are 20-3 and then its gonna be "look at all of that talent"!

Not worried about 20-3 at the beginning of the season.

The concern lies in getting all those “old bodies” to the final 16 wins in June.

I hope Rondo will help coach Vogel design some great and imaginative halfcourt offensive sets and schemes.
