Kawhi/Klay/Curry would be 1 badass trio, I can see Kawhi Leonard being intrigued by the idea |

Would be nearly impossible for the Warriors to pull it off unless they trade almost all their roster.
Warriors would be hard-capped if they received any player in a S&T.
Curry, Klay and Kawhi would put them about ~$120 in salary. |

Wouldn't Kawhi want his own team though? I mean that's exactly the reason why he didn't join the Lakers. Warriors are Curry's team, always will be until he retires. |

Kawhi could opt in and extend if he really wanted to get to GS. The Clipps only have EB rights, so he could also have a tacit agreement with GS to resign after next season with full bird rights.
None of that is happening though. He’s got it made as the Clipper Skipper. |

With all that said, if Kawhi wants to come. They'll get it done. And people will head there on the cheap to fill out the roster.
That's how big 3's work. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better” |

Just saw the Murray injury. As mentioned above, looks just like the D. Rose incident. |

It also allows teams to exceed the cap to re-sign their own free agents, but with more limited contracts than the Larry Bird exception. To qualify for this exception the player must play for two seasons without clearing waivers or changing teams as a free agent (see question number 32 for details and nuances to this rule). A team may use the Early Bird exception to re-sign its own free agent for up to 175% of his salary in the previous season (not over the maximum salary, of course) or 105% of the average salary in the previous season, whichever is greater (see question number 31 for the definition of "average salary"). Early Bird contracts must be at least two seasons in length, which prevents teams from using the Early Bird to sign a one-year contract, then signing the same player with the full Larry Bird exception the following season. Early Bird contracts can be up to four years in length, with raises up to 8% of the salary in the first season of the contract. Early Bird is also a component of the Veteran Free Agent exception, and qualifying players are called "Early Qualifying Veteran Free Agents" in the CBA. |

That's kind of a stupid report, really. It's symptomatic of clickbait culture. It doesn't claim that someone within the Warriors is saying that they are going to pursue Leonard. It doesn't say that Leonard is interested in moving to Golden State. It doesn't say who expects the Warriors to pursue Leonard. It doesn't even use the usual BS like "league sources" or "rival executives." This is just pure, unadulterated clickbait.
How about this: "The Nets are expected to pursue every player in the league in free agency or via trade." Put it up on Twitter. Let's generate some clicks. We can all quit our day jobs. _________________ Internet Argument Resolved |

You would be intrigued with 3 players from the ucla softball team.
Cap, salary, nor reality matters when it comes to your laker logic and knowledge.
0.2 is more like it. _________________ "WEARESUCK" |

Don’t see Kawhi leaving the Clippers. Ballmer will give him whatever he wants.
That sucks about Murray. He can showboat a bit, but you have to respect his game and compete level. |

Well, Curry, Klay and Wiggins already put them at $115 million in salary next year so if they trade Wiggins and Looney it's really no difference. |

More badass than AD/LBJ /Kawhi????
If he didn’t choose AD/Lebron, I don’t see why he would choose Steph and KLAY who is coming off two major injuries |

Just my opinion, but I feel Kawhi wants to be a Clipper and he will stay. As a native of Los Angeles, its the most ridiculous thing ever, but it was his choice.
On the other hand, if they get bounced early in the playoffs again...who knows? |

Good thing is Murray is still very young so he can bounce back and still have a nice career |

Hoping for the best, JM is a stud. Nuggets will probably sign Austin Rivers now. |

I think Dennis is looking for a big market team. Knicks make sense. What is the Lakers Plan B to replace him, Trezz, Drummond, Marc? _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

I mean, they have so much cap space and nowhere to spend it. The Bulls have less, but still a good amount and they need to keep Lavine around. What's the difference to the Knicks between 4/80 and 4/100 ... Both of these teams should try to market themselves as free agent destinations and giving DS crazy money will not help toward that end, but it will help make them competitive in the short-term. Hard to fault DS for holding out for the really big payday, just sucks for us. |

If the Knicks want Schroeder we should look to grab Elfrid Payton from them.. I was Impressed with Payton yesterday he would be a solid plan B PG replacement. |
