THT needs more time in the film room to learn other teams set plays so he can better anticipate where to be and defend. Learn tendencies of which players take the majority of the shots too, and where their favorite spots are. He reacts to much now just on instinct. Elite players study film to know what plays are coming. Hopefully he can get this from Lebron.

On offense, having Phil Handy will help, and gives me hope he can learn the counters. As of late, he just barrels to the hoop under the guise of being aggressive, and thinks he can figure it out as he gets closer to the rim with a crafty finish. I would like to see him get the ball earlier in the shot clock so he can utilize a screen, choose his best angle to cut, and know where his options are if he is cut off, to the open shooter or open big. Lack of practices hurting his development. He has great size and weight to drive and finish. Hoping he can work on a stop on a dime drive and pull up in the off season.

His handle is also good enough where he should be backing players in for a turn around jumper. How good he will be depends on what he can master and add to his bag of tricks. Being only 20 means he has time and potential to get there.

He really is a liability on the court right now.

He had more turnovers than points last night.

The Lakers are on Lebron's timeline and they really do not have time to wait for THT to figure things out.

If things dont improve quickly, I dont see how Vogel can trust him to be on the court come playoff time.

Nice bounce back game from THT

He needs to continue developing his counters - off hand, pull up, etc

But nice confidence and aggression from him coming off a tough game is a good sign

15 points, 4 steals, no Turnovers in 23 minutes. Young players are inconsistent; one good game, one bad game. If they could do it every game, they would just be good players.

Great bounce back game as he was calm and controlled. As long as he isn't rushing/forcing it, he's fine

It is completely normal that his games are going up and down. Its happening with all young players. But his skills and vision in this stage is already amazing.
Imagine THT when the game starts to slow down for him, when he learn how to make better decisions and his shoot improves. Definitely a great prospect and the guy we have to sign in offseason no matter what.
If it means not signing Caruso and DS I am in.
He will be huge in coming years for Lakers.

Lol at so many Lakers fans putting players as 6th men. Dennis...Kuz...Lou Will, Clarkson...

Idk what happened to starting the BEST 5 Players you have....But please bring that back!

All those guys you named outside of Kuz (who is clearly a role player as well whether it's off the bench or starting but is having his most stable season as a pro as the 6th-7th man this Season) are literally known as great 6th men League wide so not sure where you're going there with those names? THT is still heavily in his developmental stage and is in no way ready to start on a Championship level team so I think that's a good reach point for him to aim at. We all see the potential but he has a very long ways to go still.

Starting your best 5 isn't always the best way for the simple fact sometimes you have guys who's biggest talents overlap each other and true Contenders usually always have at least 1-2 guys that could start coming off the bench. There's a pretty long history of it, nothing new.

I wish the game would start slowing down for him.

I know he's still young, but he is extremely erratic out there and it leads to many turnovers.

Suspended for trying to dunk on Siakam?

Most likely it usually happen in their 4th year. Right now, he just need to learn how to play the right way and be a willing passer. I think he’s getting in there but he need more reps. Lets see in the playoff who’s gonna get shipped because I believed Lakers wants to unleash him once we extend him this offseason.

Lakers win the Miami game without the ridiculous THT suspension.

Anyway, kid is looking super comfortable even when his shot isn't falling.

To see him get big minutes.. make mistakes.. but contribute big to a win? Good stuff.
Kid has a lot of room to grow and his shot selection and 3pt shot must get better.

But there's a lot of fun stuff in his game, man.

THT is a BALLER!
He has had ups and downs, as expected, but he has shown improvement as he continues to hone his skills.
The experience that he is gaining now will have him ready for anything that throw at him. He's coming along nicely to say the least.

I hope THT works with a shooting coach this summer. If he develops a shot, other teams are in trouble.
