4th or 5th seed gets Nuggets in first round then Jazz in 2nd round. Rough!

Jazz is overrated, I would like the Lakers to meet them in the 1st round.

We would be the scariest 8th seed. It seems we might be getting there.

Longest Laker losing streak at either 10 or 11 games I think.

A team with both Schroder and Trezz shouldn't be thaaaat bad

Predicable loss to the Pels. But that was downright ugly in the paint. 62- 32!

Lakers put all their eggs in one basket and this is the downside. Rest of the league will be lining up to beat the crap out of this team.

I wonder how long it is before one of the role players goes down with an injury due to playing out of character or doing to much. Only a matter of time.

No real answer either. Just have to take their lumps and get James and Davis back healthy. Team is built to have those two playing like MVPs. Anything less is not going to work.

Yes! Does 10th get in? That’s below .500 level!

Nuggetd losing to Raptors. At least some teams under Lakers struggling too.

Expecting Flippers to beat the Spurs.
But Mavs is currently leading vs Wolves.
Nets should beat the Jazz.

I'll gladly take a Nugz, Spurs, Mavs, and Grizz tonight.

Lebron James will miss 4-6 weeks

Lets take the worst 6 weeks. Lebron will return in May with only 9 Games left.

He will not play for 19 more games.

Lets assume that Lakers will be 0-19 on that span.

After Lebron comeback Lakers will have a record of 28-35

Lakers need to win the all remaining 9 games in May to have a chance to be on the 10th spot. Damn every game counts, this will be the hardest road to the finals.

So, the lesson here next time is to pile up wins as early as they can and stop taking games lightly, they'll never know if there supertars will be healthy the whole season.

There were some that pointed out that every game counted as the Lakers lost due to coasting or my other personal favorite, when discussing "load management".

How many times have we seen the comments of " it doesn't matter if they drop a couple there is no HC". Starting to seem like a big deal now.

My new favorite is "if healthy" as if Davis and James return without lingering effects, out of shape, out of rhythm, or worst case have another injury. Also discounts injuries to any of the role players over the next few months.

Lakers will be competitive "if healthy" but the chances are razor thin IMO.

Agree 100%

Nuff with the excuse that they aren't use to their new roles. You can't expect to be open on every possession from an AD/Bron double team.

These guys are legit ballers...or maybe not - time to prove your worth newbs!

Absolutely. No one is saying they have to be an elite team without AD and LBJ, but they can’t be THIS bad.

Pelinka built this roster with enough talent to be able to withstand injuries. This isn’t the 2018-19 team where the baby Lakers were still core of the team.

These guys are veterans in this league with awards won and reputations as productive players. It’s time to step up, otherwise good luck with FA market demands this offseason.

Expecting them to win vs Cavs and Magic.

If they cant win against these 2 teams, no way they can win all the games they will play without Bron/AD. These 2 teams are the wekest teams they will face, after that It's all against tough teams.
