Although I don't like country. I'm fine with the folk genre. Stuff like this: _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better”

Other music created and popularized in the South I can at least appreciate. Like jazz and it's offshoots (blues, swing, bop, fusion, etc).
It's just that country twang. It's needles on a chalkboard. I'd rather listen to dated music I have little respect for like Ska. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better”
Is it controversial to say that El Caminos are and always were ugly? A car front w/ a truck ass? I'm just asking because now they're all old enough to be considered "classics" and there are Chevy people who think they're just great. _________________ GOAT MAGIC REEL SEDALE TRIBUTE EDDIE DONX!

If this were a song by Donny and Marie, it would go, "I'm a little bit foooolk-eeeee, I'm a little bit jazz and it's offshoooots..." _________________ GOAT MAGIC REEL SEDALE TRIBUTE EDDIE DONX!

Omg, I used to f'en hate those car/trucks. I don't know what it was but even as a kid, they would bug me just by virtue of how gd hideous they were. _________________ KOBE

Country music is hot garbage.
The only exception I can think of is Johnny Cash.
Well, given that you're the guy who challenged older people to acknowledge that there is better music from post 2000 than the previous century, I feel it is fair to point out that you may want to acknowledge some country music from artists who weren't from the last millennium.
I'm not a fan of country music at all. But as a fan of music I can attest that artists like Sturgill Simpson and Chris Stapleton write and perform great music. _________________ You thought God was an architect, now you know

John Denver
Willie Nelson
Hank Williams Sr.
Leann Rimes' debut album
This terrible, cornball redneck song by Ashton Shepherd that I heard on Howard Stern and really like
John Denver often gets overlooked.
I'd also add Waylon Jennings and Leon Russell in there.

There comes a time in no one’s life where one asks oneself, “is it possible to get a pickup truck that’s more like an open air station wagon, but only seats two and bottoms out if you load the back with two bags of dog food?” _________________ “We must always take sides. I'll second that, but with more exceptions

I thought about Russell, but he is so much more than country...too much more. _________________ http://chickhearn.ytmnd.com/
Every one state "solution" proposal I read seems to be a blueprint to the eventual eradication of Jewish power in the Middle East and I wish more leftist scholars would at least be honest and embrace it. _________________ Under New Management

I don't even know where to start reading when it comes to objective Israel/Palestine analysis. Feel like most people who cover it are doing so because they have an interest in one country/religion/culture or the other and by default are biased.
I've heard people compare the relations between those 2 countries to rival gangs causing violence. They've been killing each other for a very long time and the bad blood is so severe there is no hope for a solution that works. But at least with gang violence you could decriminalize drugs and sex work and take away alot of the $ and thus incentive for fighting. I don't even know what the equivalent of that is for Israel and Palestine. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better”

I wish the folks who control Dr. Seuss' estate would let go of their copyright on the racist books and let them enter the public domain if they no longer want to publish them. _________________ Under New Management
