Man these games without AD and Schroder have been painful to watch. The offense is absolutely atrocious when LeBron sits and Vogel feels like he cant sit him that long. We need Schroder back really bad so he can help run the offense with Bron. I think we're gonna get blown out by Utah on Wednesday and probably lose to Portland on Friday. We need schroder back BAD.

Vogel thinks he can play Matthew is beyond dumb
We need a damn miracle.

I’d Schroder isn’t available for Wednesday then rest LeBron. That’s a for sure L with this current team

He's won't be. Utah will destroy us but Lebron won't be sitting. I'm not looking forward to all the bricks then Lebron getting swatted by Gobert at the rim

LeBron has never been known to drive against Gobert since he got into the league. He’s the only player I can remember to cause LeBron to spend the majority of his time on the perimeter. If his outside shot isn’t falling we’ll get blown out for sure

Can't believe I lost an hour of sleep to a 17 point collapse against the (bleep) Wizards. I get downvoted on reddit for saying this team's offense has been bad even with AD and DS, but it's true. The All-Star break can't come soon enough.

Choked this game while missing AD and DS.

If anything it shows how we need DS and Anthony Davis.

Davis more so, but with DS we probably don't lose 3 straight.

- can we get a cook sighting when our shooters are struggling?
- can we get a look at cacok? It's official Gasol is a 15 min a game guy...him starting without AD is not a good thing.
- I do trust vogel...but he seems to be getting conservative on us.

I said this at halftime

Only mistake you made was posting there.

Per Goon

Frank Vogel said he considered putting Montrezl Harrell into the game late, but decided to keep in Marc Gasol to keep size near the rim defensively to counter Robin Lopez's second-half scoring effort.

-Our offense with no AD: pass around perimeter like we have no idea what to do, then eventually pass to lebron to try to create something with almost no time left

-Matthews is horrible

-Defensively we should have used Harrell or Morris instead of Gasol to close the game

-Matthews is horrible

-Lebron could have won the game in regulation but missed freethrow. Then he took a terrible 3 point shot. He can take a logo 3 any time earlier in the game but geeze he should have gotten closer shot for a game tying 3.

-Matthews is horrible

-At least KCP had a good game

-Our collective basketball IQ looks horrible

-And finally, Matthews is horrible

Matthew played 26 minutes and zero points. Now what grade school coach would keep playing him and getting no results? Yet he will start the next game

I was hoping someone on Twitter would post the quote but basically Vogel‘s response indicates that he has no intention of cutting LeBron‘s minutes. The end of the quote someone asked him how LeBron is doing with all this extra workload

Per Oram

Frank Vogel on how LeBron James is handling his workload: "He's a workhorse. He's doing everything he can for us."

The bigger threats are Beal and Westbrook getting easy shots by creating switches. Gasol is a determent there

WAIVING QUINN

Per Shams

The Los Angeles Lakers are waiving guard Quinn Cook, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. Teams are expected to express interest in Cook, who has served as a reliable guard and locker room voice for two title teams in LA and Golden State.

Worrying about their 3rd(4th) string center getting points over Trezz????

15/ 44 3pt attempts and 20 turnovers and gave up 66 pts in the paint.

Disappointing. But what else can you expect when the focus is not there.

They either find a way to overcome these adversities or the losing streak could get real ugly, real quick.

Next five: Jazz, Blazers, Warriors, Suns, Kings

LeBron James had seven of his eight turnovers AFTER Lakers took 17-point lead with 9:25 left in 3rd quarter

Story of the game tbh.
