Always nice to get a win over ugly greens. But certainly there are lots of things to improve. Can't allow a o-reb chance like that. Execution was bad in the final minute. Better that it happens now than in the playoffs.

Nice 1st quarter and nice 4th quarter. I thought we were dead when the Celtics came up with the steal at the end.

Glad they were able to grind it out, it is obviously the dog days of the season and there aren't going to be a lot of 48 minute perfect games from an effort perspective but they did enough to win.

Lonzo was the most overrated draft pick ever. Blame dumbass Magic for that. There were at least 5 players in that draft better than Lonzo.
Tatum is the real deal.

Doesn't matter. Lakers would have traded him to the Pelicans either way.

Also, as hot as KCP started the season, he has been absolutely rank these last several games. Wes Matthews level bad. I have confidence that he'll get back on track, at some point. But, until he does, the Lakers are going to struggle. The Lakers hot 3pt shooting covered up a lot of flaws. Now that the 3pt shooting has dried up, the Lakers are struggling.

This is the different between this season's team, and last season's. Last season, the Lakers didn't need hot shooting to win games. The dominated defensively, which led to offense. This season's team is solid on defense, but not dominant. We're leaning more on offensive firepower to win games, imo.

Would the Sixers or Greens have done the same thing, if in the same spot?

Lakers win 96-95. First win of the year where they probably deservef the L

AD 27 and 14

For 42 minutes of this game lakers were locked in and played well. But as has been the case all year, they had significant bouts of atrocious play that almost cost them the game.

3rd quarter: 4 minute stretch of absolutely puke fillef ball, careless passes and ballhandling combined with poor d. G league garbage play. Fell down by 7.

Then when up by 7 with under 2 minutes their offense went to hell, quick shots or again poor passes. Celtics made a run and almost pulled it out. AC saved the day.

Celtics, generally, played between B- to B+ ball all game. Lakers played B- to A basketball for 42 minutes with 6 minutes of F to D basketball grades.

They need to keep the focus all game. I know runs happen and turnovers as well but this team seems to have epic meltdowns over several possessions every game.

Could’ve lost this game, probably should’ve lost this game. Treat it like a loss, a lot of things we could do better right now.

The Sixers--in that same draft--chose Fultz as the #1 pick. Fuliz is an even bigger disappointment than Lonzo.

Lakers were never getting Tatum. That is a myth. Lakers tried to get a workout and he refused. He had a promise from Boston.

Who cares what he had? We could have drafted him and he would have had no choice.

Also, he grew up as a Lakers fan.

I can see how it's tough not to take the local kid. Not sure what I would have done. Was never a big Lonzo fan is all I can say.

For anyone who forgets that guys get up for the Lakers. Griffin has 3 points on 1-8 shooting against the Warriors. Only made one 3 so far. Just something we’ll be seeing all year

I consider this a loss.

Second game in a row where Lebron and lazy, careless turnovers at very critical times of the game.

And of course, KCP still in his funk.
