we are 2021-22 clippers...
Most of the analysts think we are favorites. Fans think we can beat anyone as long as we are focused ( just like clippers saying they can beat anyone as long as they are focused)
we got away from what worked so far and added Gasol, DS and Trezz ( just like Zubac, Lou and Trezz)
?
The 2019-20 Clippers were anointed favorites but had massive chemistry issues, coupled with their top guys absolutely disappearing in crucial elimination games against Denver.
LBJ/AD are not that. We have good chemistry and just running back older pieces who wanted pay increases (i.e. Rondo) would not have guaranteed anything. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals
Lakers seem to play with a better sense of urgency on the road. They have looked lethargic all season at home.
I agree with this assessment, but also, we have yet to play a team on the road that would make the playoffs. Spurs were god awful without LMA and have beaten the Clips (and us) with LMA. Our wins were without LMA. So we have not beaten a single team yet that we would face in the playoffs, on the road either. But, it is not like we have had many tests, the schedule has been very favorable.
Hopefully this Bucks game, it indicates where this team is really at.
Lakers were in a groove last few games to wrap up games in 3rd quarter, allowing them to coast 4th quarters.
Its a nice wakeup call, can't take teams lightly, and coast end of games.
We needed one of these.
There are good losses to have early in the season, and I think the Golden State 4th quarter collapse will be an important building block moving forwards.
Draymond Green got away with a obvious travel at the end of the game.
Makes me think Vogel should have saved his challenge, but I am trying to remember the rule, but I think you can't challenge a play which no call was made?
I'm not sure of the answer. I did notice something else on the replay. Green stepped on a Lakers foot which led him to travel. If your foot lands on someone else's foot is that a pivot point or are you allowed to take another step to be planted on the gym floor?
Looks like the NBA is saying it was a travel based on their report.
I have no problem with coaching staff or players complaining about the horrible officiating, but that game was not the game as they didn’t put the effort to win the game. Can’t complain when the team wasn’t fully engaged.
