Curious how this works— do people travel for Thanksgiving and then AGAIN for Christmas? Or is one typically with in laws and the other is with blood relatives?

The vaccine is coming. Why chance dying before it gets here? Stay home with only people in your own household. That's the only prudent thing to do.

I'm staying at home. My niece in Reseda will once again have a niece who lives in Los Angeles bring the full menu to me.

I'm in the senior group that'll first be vaccinated. Once I'm vaccinated I'll still limit my outings and continue to wear a mask.

Cooking for just me and the GF. Prime rib, risotto, asparagus, Yorkshire pudding. A nice bottle of Barolo.

Not sure this year. We did family dinners for years but since my dad died and my mom moved back to California we’ve usually been going out for dinner. 2015,2016,2017 we went to Dave and Busters for dinner and games which my daughter loved. We moved to Orlando in 2018 so in 2018 and 2019 we’ve gone to one of the Disney parks since we’re passholders. This year we don’t feel safe doing any of that especially with my wife being pregnant. We’ll probably do something non traditional like we used to do when my dad was alive like taco night or burrito night or something.

Just spending it with with my wife and kids, whom I haven't been able to be with for the last few months.

There's no upside to this pandemic, but it has at least allowed an opportunity to recalibrate to what truly matters.

I'm eating in the backyard with my mom, two aunts, and an uncle. We will be socially distanced, and we will have a good time, as we did this past Thanksgiving...where we ate in a similar fashion/set-up.

I will be having baked ham--that's my contribution--and whatever else is brought to the feast.
