I think their conversation in the “truck” kinda of covered that (and will probably foreshadow Mando crossing/blurring lines in the future).
Remember Mayfield talking about mandalorian code and it’s easy to stick to a code until it gets in your way, ie. Mando wouldn’t take his helmet off, then he took it off to put the stormtrooper gear on, then he shows his face. He’s realizing (and showing) that “The Way” might not be right all the time. It’s really cool to see his development.

Makes sense.

I remember him saying he'd have to kill the droid if the droid saw his face. The droid told him he wasn't human so that skirted the code.

Gina Carano (CaraDune) and Ming-Na. (Fennec Shand) kicked ass in E7.

Episode 8 was jaw dropping. I will hold back on spoilers for now. But I will say there is a Post Credits scene that you don’t wanna miss!

That final episode really delivered in a big way. The ending, so perfect. I actually got kind of emotional.

Took me back to age 13 in 1976, watching Episode IV for the 5th time in a week . . .

AMAZING!

Tons of questions - guess I'll go to a Mandalorian board to ask them.

YES!

As a resident of L.A., I've been conditioned to watch all the credits of movies & TV shows to see if a friend/neighbor/ex is in them. And after the Marvel movies . . .

i am a huge star wars fan (played with figures when I was a kid). However I am not a star wars historian. The timeline of mandolorian confused me with last episode.

If you haven’t yet, go to YouTube and watch the fan reacts as they watch in real time. Pretty awesome.

I've watched every single episode of the Mandalorian. Very enjoyable show.

Favreau has righted the ship.

What I hope is that Star Wars Universe will keep turning more and more into an adult-focused universe.

Imagine what these episodes would have felt like with a John Williams score.

Didn't realize that until near the end of the finale. All this time I thought it was after the most recent trilogy.

I enjoy the show but hope they write some better dialogue for Moff Gideon. It feels like they're wasting Giancarlo Esposito's talent.

A very satisfying season ending.

The Book of Boba Fett, a new Original Series, starring Temuera Morrison and Ming-Na Wen and executive produced by Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni and Robert Rodriguez, set within the timeline of The Mandalorian, is coming to @DisneyPlus Dec. 2021.

It really does seem like they decided not to care about dialogue.

I kind of consider bad dialogue to be as much a part of Star Wars as inept Stormtroopers.

The dialogue was primitive from the jump. I'm up to date on the show but I'm forcing myself to enjoy it as a Star Wars fans.

It was never sophisticated, but it was interesting and memorable.

That ending was amazing. I'm not even a huge Star Wars guy, but that was epic. Best thing I've seen from Star Wars since the original trilogy. In fact, I'd take Mandalorian's two season over anything I've seen since the original trilogy. Rogue one is a close second. I even liked Solo more than episodes 1-3 and 7-9.
