Thanks, kik. You've been pretty good at recommending except Lovecraft Country

The networks still make content?

Watched all 4 episodes. The show has promise. I watch it on my IPTV Eminence without commercials, no interruption. Rick and Ronald are both whacks. Jerrie has a man's equipment. Glad I didn't have to tune in weekly.

I think 12/15 was the mid-season finale. If I have it right the next airing is in 5 weeks at 10 pm ET Tuesday, Jan 26.

Thanks for the headup. I'll be there.

I loved it, but I recall having to go back and watch the movie to kind of understand a few things. Have you watched the movie? I think it was out about 10 years ago.

thought it was a little bush league that they used Ryan Phillippe in all of the marketing leading up to the show, and then.....

Part 1 of the Euphoria "special Christmas episode" is great. Very excited to have that show back.

guessing production costs were pretty low for that episode since 90% of it took place in a diner booth

That surprised me. I thought the drama of Cody sleeping Cassy would be a part of the show. Seeing if Jenny and Cassy could work together would have been interesting.

They chose the right actress to play Jerrie. Jessie James Keitel is nonbinary I think she/he's transgender. In the wiki, she/he is referred to as they. I'm being extreme when I link that to Jerrie having men's equipment.

Got no sleep last night. Feeling it at work right now.

Stayed up all last night watching Alice in Borderland. It's on Netflix. IMDB gives it an 8. It's Japanese dubbed. There is action every episode. An overarching mystery to the universe. And life or death stakes to character actions.

I'll watch the 2nd season when it comes out, but it's a niche show. Don't think it'll ever have wide appeal throughout the US.

Just finished it on Friday. It's kind of a mix of Saw, The Maze, and Lord of the Flies. I enjoyed it and look forward to season 2.

There's been some very interesting content coming out of Asia. I don't know if I would have discovered them if it weren't for the lockdown.

I watched it. I'll do what you did, go back and watch it again. Came out in 2009.

That's what I like about Eminence. It has VOD (video on demand). I watched Casablanca the other day. As my childhood friend called him, Humpty Boogart was great. His voice and facial expression were classic. He seldom smiled but when he did it lit up the room.

I also enjoyed The Flight Attendant. It took a while to pick up steam but that’s normal for the genre. Solid cast of characters, I’m on board for another season but I feel like anything beyond that will just get too outrageous.

I couldn't get into it. I got tired of Kaley Cuoco being flustered in every scene. And the scenes when she was inside her head, talking to her imaginary friend. Thought that was overdone as well.

Watching David Simon's The Plot Against America. It's dialogue heavy and a bit slow. But it's not bad.

Don't know if this has been mentioned Designated Survivor. I'm hooked. Started season 1. I'm up to E8, binged all day yesterday.

I know the series is fiction but embedded is a reality that gives it believability. Decisions have to be made that could cause one's hair to turn gray. Donald Trump is definitely not qualified to occupy the Oval Office.

It's on Netflix. I'm assuming many have a Smart TV. Netflix comes with them. Anybody watching?
