Lol the ring didn't sway you?

Nope. I didn't like the way he handled the star players or his rotations. I'm 96 percent sold on him watching the preseason. He has a job in front of him. He has a problem most coaches would die for, he's overloaded.

The offense was disgusting tonight with Gasol and KCP/Kieff spacing plus two days of practice. I'm just loving Vogel and his staff prepping the team this well without its two stars and several other regular rotation players.

Really liking what im seeing so far with effort etc. scrappy team for a championship squad too. To be dominant and a pest? Egad!

It’s preseason and all but our 20yr old 2nd round pick just carved up the Clippers so why not a mini QFTOS? I don’t see the harm.

We should trade PG for THT. Doubt the Lakers would do that though.

Regardless of it being preseason, it's annoying watching a team that just won a championship without their stars playing outwork a supposedly hungry team that has a lot to prove. Yes it's preseason, and yes the Clippers are working in a lot of new bodies, sets, and coaching staff. The work doesn't depend on any of that though.
It's early and the culture can still be developed, but if I hear any mention of streetlights this season, I'm goin to lose my (bleep).

Damn THT really lighting it up tonight (bleep)

I know its pre season but having THT drop 30 is pretty yikes

Starters getting worked by the Lakers B team when they're visibly trying? That's embarrassing. Its ok to admit that. We still got time to improve tho.

Yo that Talen steal off of the Klaw that led to a Talen 3 piece was pretty sweet though.

Frank Vogel should be credited with preparing this team so well. We were dominating even without our two best players.

Or Byron Scott's

(We would have hired Tyronne Lue if he had accepted our offer and we would still be suffering from the former Lakers coaching stigma atm)

Note-to-Jeanie: Do not hire former Lakers as head coaches or GM

I really liked Gasol with Kuzma and THT. Both are slashers and Gasol is a master passer.

Add KCP to that. Heck, Marc made everyone a slasher. At one point everyone was standing around. Then Marc got the ball at the top of the 3 point line when all of a sudden everyone started slashing. 😂😂

I'm just going to say it. We didn't get much better this offseason. We got much much much better. Look at how we played tonight, and consider that we had a legitimate top 5 NBA starting 5 sitting out (LBJ, AD, DS, AC, and WM). If we can win the battle for health, we'll be near impossible to beat on a regular basis. Rob has done an incredible job and we should be in for quite the treat this year.

This kinda makes me think that perhaps Trezz should start. The chemistry Marc can build with the second unit would be amazing if he's allowed to orchestrate to offense with Kuz, Caruso, Matthews/KCP and Morris. All of them can shoot and the cuts for Kuz, Caruso and Matthews/KCP would be awesome.

I watched the whole game, a bit delayed, then re-wound and watched again.

THT - Wholly crap. He had a decent night last night that looked like a hot night for a rookie in preseason. Tonight? Wow. He carved up Clipper starters and bench alike, dominated them all game long. I hope this translates to regular season because wow

Love Marc Gasol's passing!!!

Kuz and KCP played well too.

Really good to see this out of the gates in preseason.

Our second team and back-ups would be a decent NBA team! We are basically 13 players deep!

    Kyle Kuzma
    Markieff Morris
    Marc Gasol
    KCP
    THT
    Quinn Cook
    Jared Dudley
    Montrezl Harrell
    Alex Caruso
    Dennis Schroder
    Wesley Matthews
    Anthony Davis
    LeBron James

If Alfonzo McKinnie, Devontae Cacok or Kostas Antetokounmpo can provide anything, at all, a repeat and #18 are highly possible (barring the unforeseen).
      GO LAKERS!
