If AD signs the 1+1 deal today then buckle up

What if AD signs the 1+1 and then later today Giannis fires his agent and signs with Klutch

If giannis signs with klutch the entire leagues owners will absolutely step in

And do what? He can sign to whatever agent he wants.

Yeah, seems like Giannis to Lakers talk is heating up and we have the assets to pull off a trade if the Bucks don’t want to lose there guy for nothing.

Trez and Schroder are UFA next year so we actually don't.

Not a cap expert, just guessing that we might be able to have a dialogue with the Bucks if they know Giannis is leaving.

Here is another gem potentially linking Giannis to the Lakers

In that interview, he says he wants KD/Lebron/AD to join him in Milwaukee. Sounds like he is doing some recruiting and could sign the supermax. I just wonder if Milwaukee messed up with the Bogdonvic fiasco. We will find out soon.

yeah good luck with that. Heat had everything going for them when the 1st super team arrived in Miami 10 years ago. nice place to live, good weather, no income tax, stable franchise won a title recently, stable coaching/front office in place. Milwaukee has none of those.

That trade exception barely fits. What does Milwaukee get out of it?

If he wants to play with AD or LeBron then he can also play with them in a Laker uniform, he could have easily ignored bringing up LeBron and Davis and just name players like Harden and Beal instead, he really respects LeBron and I bet if LeBron recruits him to come he will listen.

Come on man, think about it.

Yes, in the interview, it sounds like he is recruiting them to Milwaukee, but ask yourself whether even he believes that Milwaukee is a better place to be than LA, especially for two players that are hungry for the bright lights.

I think there can be some reading between the lines here, though I have been wrong once or twice.

I really hoping this happens..Giannis to LA. I feel like its 50..50

Could you imagine a team of Lebron, Giannis, & Davis..potentially best team of all time.

if Giannis signs supermax, how will Mil sign another max players?

I think Giannis wont sign extension with that reason. He is going to say that he will recruit the best player out there, but will sign with Lakers or Heat after next season....

The Lakers don't have anywhere near the assets to pull off a trade for Giannis, especially compared with Miami or the Celtics.

Giannis said he'd be willing to team up with Lebron or AD ... IN MILWAUKEE. People are daydreaming in this thread

he was being facetious about being a #3 option. No way is he coming to the Lakers after Lebron and AD have established themselves as rulers

He's basically hinting since Lebron and AD won't go to the Bucks ever, he's going to be a Laker.

That join me in Milwaukee big was pure lip service for Bucks fans considering what else is he supposed to say? If he said verbatim that he would love to join Lebron and AD in LA, the internet would explode in rage.

I’m still in the camp of doubt it happens, but it’s clear that we are definitely highly considered from Greek Freak. The whole thing with Davis waiting to sign his deal indicates as such.

If Davis signs that 1+1 deal...oh boy. “We’re in the endgame now”.

I can’t even fathom that kind of trio on the same court. There has never been three top 5 nba players on the same team before. The defensive versatility of just AD+Giannis alone would be a living nightmare for opposing teams to get through.

If Giannis doesn't sign an extension what do the Bucks do? Just play out the season and lose him for nothing. Or try to trade him and get something for him.

Would I love to have Giannis in Purple & Gold? Of course.

Would I love for him to join a 2-time defending team? Yes but not because of him. I love that because it means we won it again.

That being said...I'm all for player empowerment, but if players can tamper with other team's players then the NBA is going to have to extend this rule to all players under contract as well.

Recruiting FAs is fair game. But this sucks for the spirit of competition.

NBA is going to have to install a 2 Superstar Rule per Team or something.

What makes competition so exciting is when teams have rivals and fans honestly don't know who is going to win it all.

At least that's what I think.

This will be "Chris Paul'd." No way the L allows it. Will be vetoed. If Shot'z is dumb enough to allow him to walk in FA then nothing anyone can do, but best believe some type of intervention of this Klutch player hoarding stuff is going to be implemented shortly after it or in the new CBA.

Yeah that’s why I said our chances at getting him now is 10% but it could go higher as more juicy stuff come out.

The biggest point I got out of what Giannis said is that he doesn’t mind being the second or third option.

This changes the narrative as some taught he wouldn’t go to the Lakers because he didn’t want to be the second or third option.

It’s a pipe dream still but it can’t be ruled out right now.
