Undoing season finale is also up there! Knock out punch looks like from prosecutor but actually from Grace, nicely done |

There's still 1 more episode. Episode 9 was a 🔥 episode for sure though. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better” |

Anyone watching the HBO Doc series Murder on Middle Beach? It is not the best HBO doc series I have watched, but I am getting into it! |

The big twist for The Undoing was there wasn't a twist. I loved it. I mean how can you turn the most obvious suspect into a surprise. Brilliant. _________________ Not a legend |

Anyone started watching The Flight Attendant? Kaley Cuoco stepping out of her Big Bang Theory role and showing her chops. I'm hooked.
Finished S4 of Fargo last night. Brilliant.
Think I might start watching Industry. Is it any good? _________________ Not a legend |

Maybe it's because it's a European show in 2020. But it is the most sexually explicit show I've seen ... maybe ever. I'm not someone who normally flinches at that stuff. But with Industry, at times I felt like I was watching porn. And of course there's nothing wrong with watching porn, but with this show you don't get to choose what type (what categories) you're getting.
The show is 8 episodes. 50 minutes each. In 5-6 of those episodes, 10 minutes of it is porn.
But I liked the show's plot. Finance. It's a mixture of Suits and Billions set in London. I'd give it a 7. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better”

Yes, it has my interest, but I am still not sure if it will be very good or just ok. Even if it just fun entertainment, that is not the worst outcome for a show. |

I was going to check it out, but I had just finished watching Devils (which I think is airing on CW currently), and it left me unsatisfied. Since Industry is also a UK show centered around the financial trading world, I just passed. I did see some early reviews, and they were not great. |

I'm like a month late on this, but I binged The Queen's Gambit in 2 days. It was really captivating. Great story and script, great performances, shot really well, etc.
So I had never seen the lead actress Anya Taylor-Joy in anything before. Something that kept distracting me while watching the show was in episodes 5 to 7 when they had her look like her real age (mid-20's).
Was anyone else distracted by the fact that she doesn't really look like a real person? She is impossibly good looking, like disturbingly so. It's like she was created in a lab or something.
It makes total sense to me that she was in some horror/suspense films before this because she has this somewhat creepy porcelain doll look.
Anyway, awesome performance by her in this series. |

Triumph - You are spot on. Taylor-Joy is like some hybrid alien/anime character with those impossibly piercing eyes. Her ethereal beauty is not from this planet |

Watched a movie that came out in 1994 FRESH It's about a 12 year old drug runner. It's ending was happy, sad. It has a 4-star rating. ROBERT EBERT review _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Just binged “Alex Rider” on Prime Video in one day. A good popcorn show..got through the 8 episode season quite easily. If you’re looking for something entertaining and easy to watch I highly recommend. I’d give it an 8/10.
My favourite shows in 2020:
Gangs of London
Zero zero Zero
ted Lasso
Honourable mention: Undoing. |

Finale this weekend was solid. It'll be a shame if that's it. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better”

Bryan Cranston's new mini-series on Showtime...."Your Honor" looks very promising after the 1st episode.

The laid the ground for season 3 story pretty well at the end (last 2 episode season 2 were great).
The irish bout to flex their voting power
The Two remaining Tongs bout to war and Fung Hai (Dustin Nguyen) bout to break out of jail to join the party
Buckley vs Penelope Blake (with ex-husband money)
Can't wait either |

That was maybe my favorite episode of tv this year. Loved how philosophical it was— Ali is such a great character. |

I've been watching Family Business on BET+. A drug dealing family is center. It started out as a good watch. I'm into season II E1. It's poorly written and unbelievable. It's a violent, sex filled crime drama. The women in the family are assassins. If you want to look at beautiful Black women scantly clothed you'll enjoy the series. I've started so I'll finish. On a scale of 1 to 10 I give it 5.
EDIT: I finished Family Business. Turns out it wasn't as bad as I thought. The plot isn't bad. It has drama, violence, sex, family loyalty, many elements of drug dealing life.
There are two Family Business series. One on BET, the other on Netflix. I didn't get into the on one Netflix, it's subtitled and White rather than Black casts.
I think BET is going to do a season 3. The finale was a come back and see. I'm going to watch. I've changed my 1 to 10 to 7. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Watched the first episode of Showtime's Mrs. America. I'm shocked about how deep the show's cast is. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt9244556/ _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better” |
