Apparently, Ballmer was already livid after the 3-1 meltdown.
Imagine if they go out sad again AND the Lakers successfully defend the title, dude is gonna lose it

Well, Get ready to see Ballmer blow his top because, that is exactly what is going to happen. We will get Trez the ring that they could not get him.
Interested to see Kawhi not opt in next year.
Or does he like socal/home/SD too much?
Kawhi should pull rank and tell Ballmer that the only way that he will re-sign, would be if the team moves to San Diego.
What if PG leaves for nothing and then they re-sign Kawhi to a long term max deal, only for him to increasingly load manage and be unable to carry the team without a second star? _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:

Kawhi gets an LA retirement, and Clippers remain irrelevant
Clips had a decent off season with Ibaka and Batum, they lost some fire power in Trez and Green but they got slightly better defensively _________________

Batum stole money last year. He should be able to bounce back from his injury, but the Clippers weren't thin at SF/SG. This makes more sense if they can move Zubac for a traditional point guard and they run a small ballish lineup with George/Leonard/Batum/Ibaka and said point guard. _________________ On Lakersground, a concern troll is someone who is a fan of another team, but pretends to be a Lakers fan with "concerns".

If the clippers have to rely on Batum... They better hope his shot comes back _________________ ππ π π π #18!!!
I think they are the 2nd best team in the West. I won't say they are better than last year but their weakness has been addressed properly. They have the talent to be one of the best defensive teams in the league.

Green was great defesnively
I hear Batum isn't as good as he used to be & he played horribly last year. I guess the Clippers are hoping for some return to form, but is hard to say if we see that.

Until the firing of Doc Rivers and the Montrezl Harrell trade, I thought the Sail Boat boys had a shot at the Larry O'Brien next season. If they'd stayed pat they would have been a legitimate threat to our winning the division.
Our FO stepped up to the plate and delivered. Trez and Dennis's acquisitions give me confidence in repeating.

Ty Lou will try to prove that he's a good coach and can win without LeBron.
Hopefully he will quickly learn that Kawhi ain't no LeBron.
And PG ain't no Kyrie. _________________ ππ π π π #18!!!

They were supposed to be an all time great perimeter defensive team last season. We doing that again?

I can kinda see why they'd kiss Kawhi's ass but why the hell did they give PG power over anything. _________________ "Chick lived and breathed Lakers basketballβ¦but he was also fair and objective and called every game the way it was played."
