Great work. Got some good laughs. Even better, this ties up the domains most likely to get clicks from the tin foil hat crowd, wanting to see this cretin run again, wanting a monument to their fallen spray painted savior.
And yeah, Trump's legacy will be worst President in US history, by a landslide.
Just gotta hope the GOP loses faith in it's far right base, and somebody with some integrity convinces McConnell to stop holding the nation hostage.
Either that, or hope Georgia has the brains to elect 2 democrats and make Moscow (bleep) a Senate Minority Leader so we can get some legislation passed to fix this debacle. |

"Conservative" justices placed religion above public heath, science and states rights. Roberts sided with liberals. Welcome to the new 5-4 conservative majority that will continue to inflict harm on the majority of average Americans for decades unless the court is expanded.
Quote: | Laurence Tribe @tribelaw
Just before midnight, Thanksgiving Eve, the 5-4 Court’s newly consolidated conservative majority departed from precedent to elevate organized religion over state power to combat disease and save lives. Justice Barrett split with Chief Justice Roberts. |
Supreme Court relieves religious organizations from some covid-related restrictions
Quote: | The Supreme Court’s new conservative majority late Wednesday night sided with religious organizations in New York that said they were illegally targeted by pandemic-related restrictions imposed by Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo to combat spiking coronavirus cases.
The 5-to-4 order was the first show of solidified conservative strength on the court since the confirmation of Justice Amy Coney Barrett, whom President Trump chose to replace liberal Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg following her death in September. The decision differed from the court’s previous practice of deferring to local officials on pandemic-related restrictions, even in the area of constitutionally protected religious rights. |
Large indoor religious services have become superspreader events and governors like Cuomo are trying to save lives and save these people from themselves. But no, anti-science stupidity ruled the day under the guise of "religious freedom."
The point that is missed is that these events kill other innocent people in the community who are NOT part of these religious events. Why do religious people have the right to spread to disease to others, unchecked? What about the rights of others in the community to be protected from disease?
This is the same "conservative" thinking that prioritizes individual gun owners rights over the deaths of innocent people in mass shootings. |

I know of no God which tells worshippers to be inconsiderate idiots, much less cruel vectors of the Corona Virus.

Life is about lessons. If in a week a bunch of these people are sick they will understand, but also I’m sure a lot will wear masks. It is what it is. Trump will soon be gone and executive orders will have a new meaning. Unfortunately the dems and Biden seem like a bunch of kitty cats and will not take trumps lead on ramming things through.
The best thing about trump was he showed how much power the pres actually has. Dems can actually use that in good ways. They won’t. |

We'll see. There are rumors that Biden has a stack of executive orders ready to go: canceling all student debt, restoring DACA, restoring environmental protections that Trump rolled back, restoring LGTBQ rights, etc.
The two Senate seats in Georgia will be a huge fork in the road moment. The one person who stands in the way of all sane legislation is Mitch McConnell. Unless you send him to the minority, there will only be so much to be done with executive orders. Of course expanding the court is an available option to redistribute power, but I'm afraid Biden won't do it. And Schumer has to be willing to eliminate filibuster. Again, we'll see. |

So now we know the conservative justices will prioritize their narrow partisan views over the health of the American people in the middle of a world wide pandemic that has already killed 260K Americans. Does anyone doubt they'd throw out the entire Affordable Care Act without a second thought for the damage they would inflict by throwing 30 million people off healthcare and destroying pre-existing condition protections for another 120 million people?
I know Biden wants to be conciliatory and give congressional Republicans "a chance" to work with Democrats. But if Democrats don't win those two Senate seats, and Schumer doesn't do away with filibuster, then trying to be "a unifier" will end up being deadly for tens of thousands, maybe hundreds of thousands of Americans.
Something to consider. |

Without those two GA senate seats in the Dems' column, Repubs are going to roadblock Biden, so the voters blame him for no progress...and vote for a Repub in the next presidential election (2024). _________________ Garvey, Lopes, Cey, Russell |

Unfortunately even with those two seats the filibuster isn’t going anywhere. Manchin already said he will block any “extreme” things like ending the filibuster. |

Are some senators up for re-election in 2 years? That’s why executive orders are everything. |

From day 1 like trump, Biden needs to set narrative how republicans are stopping higher wages etc. even if he has to fib. Focus on the meat behind closed doors create the narrative that trumpers want to hear in front of camera. Those morons are easily turned especially if it’s coming from an old white guy. |

Wrestling absolute control of all legislation out of McConnell's fetid purple hands is a necessary first step.
I'd add to this turning the FBI loose on terrorist social media sites.
Lies and coercion can cause harm, and when this occurs there should be serious legal consequences. It's not in our interests to have more of what we've put up with for the past 4 years, seeing heavily armed militant mobs brandishing weapons and burning torches as they march through 'enemy territory' with the President's approval, and that's got to be called out for what it is, threats, intimidation, and in some cases sedition. It goes beyond and abuses the concept of 'free speech.' |

I think Biden is taking the right path, don't poke the bear. Obama tried to no avail but the party wasn't burdened with Trump.
I hope this go round they understand the damage the PARTY has done and at least attempt to be somewhat conciliatory

Understand? Have you been following this at all? These bastards deny they have covid right up at the moment they are being intubated. They are incapable of learning anything that doesn’t fit their world view, and are literally willing to die for the “right” to not be inconvenienced. _________________ “We must always take sides. CNN: Pandemic inauguration plans underway
Quote: | Outside President Donald Trump's bedroom window on the north side of the White House is the sound of building: hammers, drills, the beep-beep of trucks backing up and metal planks clanking into place.
Construction of the parade platform for President-elect Joe Biden's inauguration festivities is well underway. The viewing stand and bleachers are almost complete and each day they get closer to being done -- all within Trump's view -- as it becomes clearer his days in the White House are coming to a close. |
Happy day after Thanksgiving! |

Dictator Donnie thinks he gets to decide if Biden can enter The White House:
Donald J. Trump
@realDonaldTrump

Biden can only enter the White House as President if he can prove that his ridiculous “80,000,000 votes” were not fraudulently or illegally obtained. When you see what happened in Detroit, Atlanta, Philadelphia & Milwaukee, massive voter fraud, he’s got a big unsolvable problem! _________________ You thought God was an architect, now you know
