If this gets approved later in the season, it will drop us like 5 million under the hard cap, correct?

Is Batum still an NBA rotation player?

If so, I wouldn’t mind his length and defense off the bench for the minimum

According to LegionHoops Terry Rozier might be on the move

This has the Clippers written all over it

Does KCP want to contend for another championship or does he want a few extra bucks? Seems the latter matters more to non 1st/2nd option players. Must be nice to not have your "legacy" scrutinized all the time, and just chase the highest bidder.

I thought this year teams weren't going to hand out big contracts? I see so many over pays. At least Lakers so far haven't done any crazy contracts.

Rozier looks like the only cheap-ish option left for them.

Anyone else would require significant assets. I don’t think they are interested in Westbrook or Wall bad contracts.

re-sign KCP, sign Gasol

Yup

KCP
Wes
Lebron
AD
Gasol

Bench:

Dennis
Caruso
Kumza
TREZZ
Javale/Boogie

Possible Closing Lineup:

KCP
Caruso
Lebron
Trezz
AD

If we could nab Gasol for the minimum, I’d be ecstatic. Putting him at C and Trezz at PF is the perfect combo IMO (we certainly need a stretch big to pair with Trezz now)

PG: Bron - Schroder
SG: KCP - Caruso
SF: Matthews - Kuzma
PF: Davis - Harrell
C: McGee - Gasol

Plus to cover for Trez’s lack of defense

Getting Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and Nic Batum for the vet min would be amazing haul

Rondae I'm with that. 25 years old and is still hungry.

Batum is washed and any hopes he'll play like his Blazers days is beyond dreaming. He went the Deron Williams route, got his big payday and stopped caring

If Batum can return to his 9PPG / 38% from 3 form he would be a Impact player for us.

That would be great but honestly it seems unrealistic.

This guy just came off a season averaging 3.6 points playing on the Charlotte Hornets.

Scary Terry not soo scary anymore.
Plus another shoot first point guard , that should sit well for Kawhi and PG

Perfect

Now if you would be able to fit in Moe Harkless somehow I'd be on Cloud 9

At this point KCP must want more money or I think it would have been a done deal.

How much do you think Kieff Morris is going to get in this market? His brother just got 4 years $64M.

Only about 3 teams have any cap space left, and Atlanta shortened that with Rondo

well i have to make a guess that KCP, Morris are "ready to go" and we are exploring other options by a deadline and will pull the trigger when that deadline happens.

i mean, LBJ, AD, Trez, KCP and THT are all rich paul clients, i'd be utterly shocked if rich paul screws us on this.

I don't know anyone would. He's a nice piece on a contender. But take up crazy cap space on a rebuilding team?

Pat Bev's contract almost lines up with Terry's.
Abut 10 mill short.

Clippers don't got much else. Lou Will maybe.

Good Times

Really interested to see what Rob is going to do with the center position. I wonder how much he anticipated Dwight leaving. I am sure he had a plan B.
