Paul George could have been a Laker ... a big 3 with Lebron and AD.

Pisses it away because he's a dope to stay in OKC then to the Clippers and now he potentially gets shipped to Houston.

Don't be stupid is the lesson here oh and never say no to the Lakers!

He wouldn’t have survived as a Laker. Like Kobe said, some players aren’t cut out for it.

Imagine what KCP went through happened to PG13.

Yup. When Kobe made those comments I heard it but I didn't really fully get it. Now I 100% see what he meant...Pandemic P couldn't hang in purple and gold and he knew it. This was too much for him.

LeBron and AD.. those guys WANTED that pressure and both thrive in it... just like Kobe.

PG13 far better player than KCP. The level of pressure would be removed with LeBron and AD

PG13 couldn't understand how great he would have had it. Laker star, championship team, $30mm a year and next to no pressure.

Get over it. PG is getting paid. If he didn't want to play with Lebron on the Lakers, that's a personal choice. I doubt he cares whether fans agree with his decisions. His paychecks will keep rolling in.

Imo KCP demonstrated a lot of mental toughness, something PG13 doesn’t have. Also, I think we have seen PG13 long enough to know he just isn’t a playoff player...he chokes. He would have made everyone forget about Danny Green’s shooting struggles tbh.

The funny thing is, if there were a poll 3 years back on who LG would prefer, 70% of the people here would have picked Palmdale P over Lebron.

The excuses would have been:

“Paul George is from LA and knows what it takes to be a Laker.”
“We don’t want LeGM trading our youth.”
“Lebron is old and declining.”
“No one wants to play with Lebron.”
“Lebron doesn’t play well with ownership, the front office, and the coaches.”
“Lebron would just come here to make movies and retire.”
“Paul George used to wear 24 so he’s more “Mamba”.”

I’m so glad we dodged that bullet.

Oh, there were many folks here that wanted PG13 instead of LBJ. Thankfully that didn't happen.

He's going to regret his decision for the rest of his life. At least it would be a life filled with hundreds of millions of dollars. I don't know how competitive he is but if I was the very competitive type that truly wants to win, then I'd be really upset with myself pondering what it could have been.

yeah he's going to regret living in LA making millions of dollars. What a (bleep) life.

One player is actually the GOAT. The other isn’t even top three on the court vs the Nuggets. Glad things worked out for us.

Yeah, that was pretty funny. He's acting like he's been personally insulted when anything anyone posts here will not have a consequence on how PG is doing.

There always a chance one of PG or Kawhi would come crawling to us after this season. All they’ll hear is Lebron, AD, and Rob laughing behind closed doors. 🤣😂🤣

I think PG’s Eskimo Brother, Seth Curry, said it best when he called PG a “(bleep) Ass” after scoring an And1 on him.

Correction .. playing for Clippers and LA means pretty much living in Cali year round.

Houston.... ahahah for 5-6 months.

he would have had zero pressure here. bron/ carries most, followed by AD. Kuz gets grief. PG could have hidden

Would we have won last year with PG and LeBron?

Scenario 1: LeBron, PG, Ingram, Ball, Kuzma, etc.

Scenario 2: Deal for AD gets done. I'm assuming we would have had to give up both Kuzma and Ingram for AD.

How good is Paul George, really? 28.0 PPG with 1st team defense in 2019 with OKC. That's MVP level production. But then he looked like a scrub in the playoffs this year.

Seriously, who cares about the guy. Never has, never will be a Laker. Out sight, out of mind.

He said no to Lebron, as did Kawhi and other players. Not everyone wants to join his team since they will be the scapegoat, not Lebron.
