The Fonz wasn't as cool as I thought. He was a 30-year old hanging out with 20-somethings.

You have been demystified.

Not true, because I was never a finance bro. But Delmonico's is great.

Please, you lived at Dorsia's.

But has US capitalism specifically hurt and killed Middle Easterners in a tangible way where someone living in that area of the globe would think it was justified in an eye for an eye way? I'm focusing on US capitalism, not US foreign policy. I'm familiar with that.

I mean, Osama was the scion of a billionaire.

It was a theocratic/geostrategic conflict between elites, not some subaltern proletariat overthrow of capitalism.

So is that a no? There isn't a logical reason for Middle Easterners to want to retaliate against US capitalism specifically? I mean if they just attacked the Pentagon I wouldn't even be asking this question.
Maybe they attacked the Towers because they were tall symbolic buildings? Not because of what work Americans did within those buildings (or workers like them)?

It’s not capitalism that the Arab world has a beef with, its neocolonialism.

No. My questions weren't rhetorical. They were genuine.
I think your response answered my question though.
They attacked the towers because they were there and they could hit them and they were in America. It wasn't a statement against US capitalism. It was a statement against the US in general.
If I'm mischaracterizing your thoughts please correct me.

Your original answer (specifically the bolded) was a little tough to understand. So I asked more questions to clarify.

Indubitably, and he’s not pusillanimous about it.

I am the very delineation of equanimity.
you mean supercilious obstreperousness.

Delmonico's is one of the worst dining experiences in the City. That's not controversial, it's the truth.

On a par with the food.

Delmonico's is inside a gorgeous building. The interior was nice and clean. But for the steakhouse experience you have to head to Midtown.

I can’t find a suitable way to enforce it that wouldn’t be rife with all kinds of inequities and moral problems, but I don’t think people who can’t demonstrate basic parenting skills and the ability to support a child should be having one.

You'd change the course of human history for the better if you could figure out a solution to that.

It's easier to get used to looking at when you have 17 of them.

Might attitude towards them has definitely soured over the years. I used to enjoy a well designed, professional display. But the reality is they just cause stress and discomfort to pets and some people as well. And I've come to have a distaste for the tacky sense of American "Patriotism" associated with Independence Day celebrations.

Street fireworks are definitely bogus and people who randomly shoot them off are just inconsiderate jerks. Though, I do love a good "moron has a firework accident" video.

The only exception is people’s phone pics of fireworks. Those always turn out incredible.

If you have a great seat or a particular song is special for you, I’ll allow a 10sec grace. Then it’s time to put it away forever. Went to a show a couple years ago and the guy in front of me watched the entire thing through the screen on his phone. A video he will never watch and sounds horrible.
